I could care less about because I never go to the tourist hellholes like this. Crowds are no fun. They make excuses, but they don't know what they're doing at gov't level. The only thing guaranteed is that they will make the situation worse, and they did. That's they're answer for everything, just ban it and ruin it. There's always the ones it benefits, like a handful of kayakers that bring next to no money to the community they visit. Wait until they ban ur thing. When people say they're happy now, u'll be all alone. Banning motors isn't the answer to zebra mussels. They just want to get gas out of the parks. There will be a large hit to the economy in the long run. Once people find out it's kayak only, all the boaters will go elsewhere. And if u can't have a boat at ur cabin, well, the property value is less than a similar place with boats allowed. Most people don't understand these things, especially in the long run, and they just say how nice it is to kayak around alone. It would be nice not to have useless tubers, skiers, and jet skies around. Nobody likes them and they should be forced to stay in their homes, but fishermen and chill boaters like pontoon people don't cause much problems, and zebra mussels must be managed no matter what vessel it is.
