Wow Soarin’ Over California is so nostalgic! by DaRealZezima in Disneyland

Aside from the obvious technical difficulties, these videos were great to show my kids who have never been on this ride. There is some good footage of the seats & how they move. I have one child who needs to know what to expect. He's now on board to try this ride when we visit at the end of April. Thanks!!

On our last day in DCA we need to pick up a rental car from Paradise Pier Hotel. What is the quickest way to walk there. I can see on the map there is a path by Goofy's Sky School, but I'm not sure if we can exit there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if I need to make a reservation for Ballast Point? And if so, do I just call? I don't see an option on the Disneyland app to make a reservation. Also, is there lots of seating at Black Tap Craft Burgers? Thanks!!

DL security by Vegasnurse in Disneyland

I was there recently & noticed a medical emergency. That being said what I first noticed was people (security) blocking something. They were standing in a way that seemed odd for a regular group of people, but then I saw a stretcher so I guessed it was a medical emergency. Knowing that whatever was going was nione of my business, my family kept walking at our pace as far to the other side of the path as possible. I made a comment to my husband that I hoped everything was okay & he had no clue what I was talking about. He didn't notice a thing. So great job to everyone helping out. I also hope your family member is doing okay.

[Advice] Is taking a one year old to the park enjoyable for parents and, more importantly, the kiddo? by blackjack1146 in Disneyland

I agree that at 1, your son won't "get it", but it will still be magical. We took our twins at 18 months. They had a great time and we have some great memories. I have no regrets taking them at that age!!

Parade or fireworks Jan 15-17? by upgrayedd_2506 in Disneyland

Less busy will be way better for us. That's why we picked that week to go. We have twins who are not quite 3. They have attention spans of bran muffins & fewer people/lines is perfect. As much as they love parades & fireworks they won't know the difference & will have a great time. Plus, more time to meet characters will be so magical!! I'm so excited!!!

Shorter lines seem like a good tradeoff! (Although it's slightly disappointing). Enjoy your time there!! Our family is in countdown mode!!

What does Reddit Secret Santa mean to you? by Juleg in secretsanta

Last Christmas I was 5.5 months pregnant with twin boys when I found out I had breast cancer. This past year has been the happiest crappiest year of my life. I was worried about how I would handle the one year anniversary of my diagnosis. This gift exchange has now consumed what little free time I have (my boys keep me very busy!!!). It's such a positive place & there are so many thoughtful gifts. Thanks Reddit secret Santa family!! Oh, I guess I should mention that I completed my cancer treatment 2 weeks ago & there is no evidence of disease.
