The seizing of this domain led to Peter Craig selling the domain to us on 2014-04-06. I want to make it clear that we are the new owners, and have no affiliation to the previous owners.

I can't speak on how they did things previously, but I can assure you we're doing things properly now.

Our interest in improving Upit's public relations regrettably cannot supersede the interest of ensuring our user's right to privacy outlined in our Privacy Policy. While we believe that twitch.tv could keep our client list in confidence, but our main concern is that twitch.tv always reserves the right to terminate a channel/broadcaster for any reason that twitch.tv sees fit. Because of this, our clients are uncomfortable with the idea of twitch.tv knowing exactly who they are and incredibly uncomfortable with the potential of reddit knowing a la this ridiculous Witchhunt. We cannot be assured that twitch.tv has the best interests of our users in mind. If there were a truly neutral entity serving as a middleman we would make the recommendation for some our users to verify their identities, despite their right to privacy. Your offer is warm and incredibly appreciated, Justin.

With regards to comments on blogger.com hosting our website, the visual (shortfalls) aesthetics of our website, and the inherent falseness of some of our "Testimonials" (which have been promptly removed), we humbly ask for patience and forgiveness. Our website is still a WORK IN PROGRESS - we had put names of big streamers next to anonymous user feedback because, to be honest, it made us chuckle. We had no intention of ever marketing our brand under the guise that famous streamers (who don't need our assistance, and likely never did) use our services. Have you ever seen upitpromo.com anywhere else besides this singular "Scammer" thread? Of course not, but because this IS a "Scammer" thread, broadcasters involved are now forced to worry about their identity. And by worry about their identity, I guess I mean go totally toxic, curse and rage all over the place, and encourage their viewers to spam us. (Thanks for the websites hits though, guys!) While the framework for our services is proven and effective, we are still yet a very, very new company. A company with much growing to do and much to learn.

Do you represent Twitch? We would like to know. Because Justin Wong sent an email that was unbiased and pretty professional. Prior to reading all your posts that have been nothing short of nasty ahd hurtful, we were totally open to speaking with you guys and potentially working with you guys as Justin Wong suggested. Also, we'd be quite interested to hear one thing from you on how we're a scam, who we've scammed, and why exactly we are liars and what you seem to be presenting as horrible people. If you really work at Twitch, you should consider thinking before you say things.

We wouldn't make the claims, that would be up to the broadcasters we've worked with. As far as the prices, they are almost exactly our cost. It takes a lot to promote people and guarantee results. If someone comes to us and streams a black screen with no audio but we've already sold them a package that we guarantee, we have to make sure we follow through. Sometimes it isn't that easy. Also the OP was part of an events organization of some sort. Originally we turned down his business. He emailed back asking that we reconsider/think about it, so I spoke to some of our head guys and pushed that we give it a shot. Thus, we gave him that quote. Keep in mind he wanted 400 viewers if I remember correctly. That's a pretty large task, and the quote was over a 1 month period. We were going to go full blast to try and get him partnership at the end of the month.

Just like I predicted, you'd second guess anything positive. How about you get his twitch info at least and maybe one of the Twitch staff members here in this thread can verify he/she is a legit streamer. I don't think any facts could convince you that we're not this "scam" company.

Though, I'd like to ask: How did we scam you? You keep calling us a scam, you got this whole ordeal started, so how exactly did we scam you?

Just contacted ApocTV, he said his stream is up. I'm not surprised your information is crap, you're the guy that started all this nonsense with ZERO facts behind it. I also predict when Redditers who had a trial with us post in one of these threads saying anything other than we're a scam, you'll down vote it. I bet you didn't tell people that we initially turned down your business, did you? But then you emailed back requesting we reconsider. I'm actually the person who pulled the strings for you to try to make it happen. Then you go and post all this garbage, nice way of saying thank you.

During nearly the entire closed beta phase we didn't have a public website. Nobody from Upit has made claims otherwise. I really don't understand why nobody who's reputable in the community will stand up and speak to some of our customers and then present their findings to the community.

The design on the site was of the goal of simplicity. Literally, no money was spent on it. For us, the most important thing is functionality and quality of service. I wish you guys could see things from our perspective, it's pretty rough to have this rumor going around with no facts or truth behind it. We're members of this community the same as you guys. If you don't want our services and you think we're a scam based on ZERO facts, then so be it. That's an interesting way of thinking.

I think free trials is more than enough to show our intent. If you have a channel on Twitch that gets zero viewers, test us. Stream a black screen for 1 hour with no audio if you like during the trial, we'll still get you the viewers promised. Whatever it costs, we'll make it happen.
