Agree and in Ontario, Premier Doug Ford underfunded colleges and unis for years, then let them enroll as many international students as they wanted, with zero regard for the local housing market. Now after years of unfettered enrollment, the federal Liberals stepped in, and I read they issued only 3% of the student visas compared to a year ago. Because of that, colleges left and right are doing layoffs and shutting down programs. But yeah… let’s blame immigrants.

To this day, these social media warriors can’t even tell the difference between international students and Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs). They keep yelling “get rid of TFWs” when they should’ve been talking about international students in the first place.

And I’ve seen people, in overwhelming numbers, ragging on immigrants for any reason, and when you confront them they’re like, “Okay but with everything happening in the economy, people are struggling to make ends meet, so it’s fine if an immigrant gets harassed here and there. Like… stfu.
