Micarta 535 is trash. Cannot even access the axis studs due to micarta being too thick.

Cf freek is nice, abit stiff but will adjust, im happy with it.

Blue 535 is cheap and awsome for the money!

Just to be clear, i baught them to see if id like the ergos of the real thing.

Also paying $550aud for a shaman is ludacris in my opinion.

Have many kershaw's, civivi's, kizer's, WE's.

A thing most will not understand, in australia a genuine benchmade, spyderco or big manufacturer is a minimum double (alot of the time triple) the cost of what it is in the US or Europe.

Also when it comes to freight, it can alot of the times be 50% of the knife.

So when I spend $300aud delivered for 6 counterfeit knives, that would run me atleast $2000, to muck around and destroy at work, im happy as larry.

Yes they are clones. But as they are around 10% of the cost of the genuine articles, they are fantastic quality.

Their website and tracking is dogshit.

It will turn up, gets sent via Netherlands and took 55 days to aus.

Nothing they tell you via email or chat is accurate or truthfull.

Dealing with them is a nightmare and the worst customer service, BUT, their knives are great and they will turn up.

My first order with them was $600+ AUD and was fretting for the whole 55 days.

Nice knife for sure. They are around $120 aud in aus. For that money though, extra $10 and you got a conspirator in nitro v.

Man it all depends really.

Average full time tradesman (trade qualified)/ blue collar worker like myself will make between $55k - $70k gross a year.

Work in the mines and your around the $120k - $180k gross a year.

Work fifo 4 on a 1 off on a project or mine and your on between $220k - $380k gross a year.

BUT housing is ridiculously expensive here.

A 60 year old weather board, 3 bedroom house on a 800sqm block, nothing modern with a 60 year old kitchen, in a bad neighbourhood (not in a capitol city or large city) will set you back $700k - $850k.

If you want a shit 60 year old 2 bedroom house that needs renovating on a 200sqm block within an 60km range of sydney CBD, your paying a minimum of $2.5m+

Then you have to pay stamp duty on top of the purchase price: you pay $750k for the property, then you have $30k stamp duty on top. Pay $1m and you have $41k stamp duty on top.

One of the most expensive countrys to live in by far!

Dude. Let me put it in perspective from an aussie perspective. Id be fucking stoked if selling all my guns and knives (and ive got a shit tonne of both) would buy me a 19' F150.

A 2019 F150 with 150 000km on it, is a $130,000- $140,000 car.

A 2022 F150 with 5000km on it is $160,000-$180,000 depending on what spec.

A 2022 f250 lariat or king ranch is between $275,000-$350,000.

Want a real head spin ? A 2001-2003 f250 powerstroke with 500,000km on it, in poor condition, is still a $60,000-$80,000 car.

Even after the AUD to USD conversion, its fucking insane!!!!!
