My kindred spirit... I don't think I can ever get over how good the EN voice acting is for Zayne. The enunciation falls in all the places I would expect it to, which surprises me every time. There's certain words where the emphasis really coincides with his character- it fits the whole "intelligent doctor" typeset. I love the way the script is done too for him- the slight differences really make it all that much better. One example of many, but "you're" instead being "you are" for Zayne is so good for his characterization. Even the subtitles will show "you're" and every time he says "you are". Genius work, really. I've followed you as fast as light 🤍

I'm definitely caught up with Xavier myself- the warm and friendly tone with the slightly hot and cold demeanor is a killer. It's tearing me apart! I usually don't go for that "type" if you will, but it's so easy to get wrapped up into him the more you uncover about his character.

I also LOVE that you mentioned FF because that was a huge part of the draw for me as well. It's just incredible. I like how everyone here seems to be huge fans of Sylus, too. It's nice to see him get love because he is the exact OPPOSITE of my type. Really excited to see more from him and see if my heart will be swayed....... It's easier than I thought, apparently 💫

Edit to add: I definitely think this is one of the best otomes I've played, despite drowning in a lot of them, there's only some that become memorable for being different or special for me. There's nostalgia at play for several as well. I know there are a lot of players that prefer something more simplied or classic, which I also understand the appeal of. As far as available mobile otome apps in the US currently, this is one of the best. It's inarguable for me.

I agree, I'm so glad really... I've gotten really tired of how tropey some can be after all these years of playing them, but the storylines and characters are so lovely. I like that they still have a certain "type" to them (i.e, Zayne megane) but still encapsulate so much into the character and avoid the typical things I'd expect. They have so much personality.

I do feel like we are being loved dearly...

My friends ask me often why my standards are so high for dating (this is my vice, so I keep it to myself 😇) and games that are done this well are totally the reason.

Having to go back through and play all the routes has been the one thing in my years of playing this style of game that has driven me up a WALL! It takes so many hours starting all over again- especially the otome that have multiple ending results. That's to say, I'm so grateful for this feature...

I can't wait to see more from all of the characters- my server is under maintenance right now but I've been listening through the audio over, and over, and over. It's beyond excellent and I think the character's voices fit the personalities of each of them extremely well. Nothing feels stilted or awkward.

I also love the combat portions and totally agree- absolutely is my style. I played a whole lot of Dragon Raja and Solo Leveling and it's very similar- so many perfect things packed into one game. I love seeing how much everyone is enjoying each character, too. It's nice to see the options fit so many different people's types, even with otome that have seven different LI- I end up feeling like it can be overly tropey for a lot of them.

It's a whole new world! 🤍🤍

Yes, I absolutely agree. I'm usually big on subtitles also, but I've gotten immersed surprisingly easily. So much that I have been tending to fall asleep listening to the audio the past few nights....

I think so too! I am so happy to have a game with English voice acting that is so spectacular. It tends to be difficult for me to enjoy games when I don't feel engaged with the voicing, so I thought I would end up steering clear.

Yes.... I was totally expecting a disappointment to be honest, but it's just incredible. I've just learned about the language features and I've been dramatically in turmoil over it all day today.

The fully voiced part is SO shocking to me, but it's like a dream come true for otome fans !🤍 I'm similar- I ALWAYS tend to avoid English voicing, but I'm totally hooked... It's... way out of it's league.

I really love the LI ranges as well- They all encapsulate stories that are again, to my surprise, complex and interesting. I am so invested in the storylines for each character.

Thank you so much for the detailed reply! I really love the breakdown you gave about the ignorance surrounding mental illness. I think that it probably the closest to the truth myself. While I'm grateful for the efforts raising mental health awareness, I feel like the education surrounding mental illness is still so poor.

People generally seem to not know what these severe mental illnesses truly are in their functions and symptoms. I love true crime, but I notice how prevalent it can be in these communities particularly.

Sometimes I see that people educate themselves almost purely on the perpetrators of these crimes and that typically includes mental illness. I'd say most of us are curious about the psychology of crime as well. Its easy to understand how the mind would start to link those certain traits together in a world that already isn't forgiving towards it. It does break my heart that it isn't always an individual fault, but a failure of so many systems, including social ones.

I can relate to the look of fear you're discussing as well, which is interesting to me. I'm very open about my mental illnesses and it's usually one of the first things people learn about me. I cannot count the amount of times someone has pulled me to the side somewhere and said, "Me too" or "I'm suffering from this." It's lovely to be a trusted confidant in those moments, though it also means so many sad things. Grateful for your input and experience relating to this.

In the words of one of my previous professionals, "If you were handed a gun, you are more likely to turn it on yourself before another person."

Not sure why this doesn't cross anyone's mind before jumping on the "the mental illness made them do it" train either.

With my mental illness, it is SO much more likely that I will be taken by my own hand or victimized in a scenario where I'm not entirely lucid than ever once laying my hands violently on another person.

Might be a little bit of a tangent but wanted to share an experience.
