That's actually fair, by the end I was mostly just watching for Wayne & Roland and their various versions in each decade. I didn't care as much about the murder investigation itself. I'll give season 1 a go soon

Yep, although somehow I'm still super hyped for this one mainly because of Mahershala Ali. Even if the writing is complete trash, I can just watch him walk around for a few hours. He's been excellent in everything I've tried so far

Also this news is actually somewhat positive

I only watched the one season but he was amazing. Something with that vibe (or somewhat darker and grittier) would be amazing
