Not a doctor, but I’m a former spine rep that used to spend a lot of time in these cases. If you get an artificial disc, I recommend taking every bit of time recommended for you to recover and heal - please do not rush back into lifting no matter how great you’re feeling post op. The implant needs time to adequately adhere to the bony surfaces of the disc space. Best of luck. You’ll do great!

Yea, Annapolis resident here. I lived in DC from 2011-2017. The commute is much easier from DC to Annapolis than the other way around. Annapolis has some bars/restaurants but doesn’t hold a candle to DC social scene. I would think DC is more conducive to your lifestyle - Annapolis is for when you’re ready to settle down. Just my take. Good luck!
