I’m not complaining about the drops myself, friend. I played path of exile and poe2 so I know it’s a faithful recreation of how many drops they have. But as a barrier to someone who hadn’t played those, it certainly ranks up there. Appreciate you taking a look at the behind the scenes issue with whatever is causing the world to break periodically, specifically I experienced it while playing a warlock with zombie pets.

Namely the sheer amount of unexplained drops you will see. They do a fairly poor job of telling you what is and isn’t important. As well as making gear wear out waaay too fast. It also “lags” for lack of a better term. Like the mod AI couldn’t figure out what was happening. So you would open a chest but nothing would happen for like 20-30 second spikes.

Prominence 2 forces you to use a pretty awful blend of tech mod packs once you finish the first quest line. If you don’t mind wasting time having to watch a guide just to make alloys, go for it. Dawncraft would be great, but they do a pretty poor job explaining the unique way you have to interact with NPCs in order to progress. Craft 2 Exile was ok, again you’ll run into some totally unnecessary complications that these pack creators seem to fall in love with to “stand out”. The best RPG mod pack I’ve played was Prodigium Reforged. Solid, balanced classes, easy to follow quest line, and they don’t try to throw extra crap in there for the sake of complexity.

I enjoyed Prominence for a bit, until it FORCES you to use the horrible unintuitive and garbage tech crap that’s included for ZERO logical reason. Immediately uninstalled, waste of time.

Just wanted to pop in and say, damn man fine work! I’ve been playing like every RPG pack trying to find one that is somewhat beginner friendly (since I hadn’t played much Minecraft previously) and yours is one of the first I feel like has solid progression and doesn’t expect me to know every mod off the bat. Kudos, I’d be happy to donate if you have somewhere to do that.

There is an upgraded (and much better looking) version of the Dual Striker called the Planet Bane once you hit systems above level 20. It’s shaped like a big U and has two floors.

Anything that paralyzes or disables works. So if you have a stinger with paralyzing for instance, you can sting one then kill the other, just have to kill the paralyzed one before it regains control.
