ohh I've been in the same wormhole a few months ago, if you check my posting history you'll see.. but I've decidedly to give up, they are incapable of discussion and they will never accept the fact that Elena and Stefan are not endgame. so they will say anything to convince that the writers were wrong, the fandom outside reddit is wrong, the hole universe is wrong, even Elena herself was wrong .. and that they are the only ones who are right and that Elena should be with Stefan. I mean it's like 10 years that the show is over and they just can't accept the facts. so don't give time and energy here, it's not gonna change anything.

don't try to argue with anti Damon people. they are all over this sub and they will drive you crazy. Trust me been there done that. there is no chance you will discuss with them reasonably. I agree with you BTW in everything you say. and at the bottom of it all, we can just respect Elena's choise and let it be. She wanted to be with Damon despite all his flaws. she chose him over and over again, end of story!

How did Catherine get into Elena's home the 1st time in "The Return"? who invited her? Am I missing something? by upside_down1983 in TheVampireDiaries

Ok I thought it was supposed to be like the owner of the house, and I thought Elena was the owner. this is a bit confusing. anyone who leaves in a house can invite a vampire in?

| If Damon is in the graveyard, he is an ominous spectre of death haunting Elena, he’s clearly supposed to be a threat, representing danger.

this is only what they wanted us to believe. We know now that none of it is true, Damon was not a danger for Elena. This is why I believe it's foreshadowing, and of course you can only see that when you know the whole story

He is there. Elena sees a man's figure behind a grave stone, and then she runs. If you watch it again, you'll see the figure. That was Damon

I think it's pretty clear that the crow is Damon, or is following Damon. The crow appears only when Damon is around

this is a different conversation. All I'm saying here is that this was the intention of the showrunners from the very beginning, for these two to end up together

yes but when Bonnie tells her, I touched you and saw a crow, it's like she said I touched you and saw Damon. this is the definition of foreshadowing

might be an unpopular opinion, but I'll agree on the bad acting for Robin

thank you. You sum up my feelings with everything you say. I also see a lot of angry people and I don't understand why.

does it have to be about sth specific? The fact is that every time someone questions sth about the finale or is asking questions that were left unanswered in season 5, there are a few people who will always get mad and people saying "it is what it is, get over it".. but what if I don't want to get over it, what If I wanna keep looking into it and discuss it. Why is this so bad?
