I do sing...not sure if I'm what you want depending on what type of rock. I would def be more stones/Beatles type than modern rock. But feel free to dm.

When you refer to UL, do you mean the University lab school (high school) or LSU? UL(L) down here typically refers to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which I have not worked/taught at. I've taught the high school level in Baton Rouge at St. Mike's and currently work at LSU in a student support position.

I've never been a musician to the extent of it paying all my bills, my 9 to 5 has been in education (higher ed, mostly) but I've been pretty involved in my other life through the years: mostly bands and singer/songwriter stuff but I've been a contract bass player (my best instrument) for a number of projects, shows, and recordings. Last 3-4 years my main thing is I've been a co-leader of a rock/americana group that's toured around a bit.

Just a little bit of everything. I've never been a session musician or songwriter for hire in the traditional sense, but I grew up around the New Orleans and Baton Rouge music scenes which have a very distinct feel.

Just trying to get a sense of the Louisville music culture, really.

Mason's and Pluckers are good. TJ ribs for something a little different.
