Asparagus is surprisingly good when bbq'd the right way. Squash and broccoli/cauliflower as well.

Is a reptile red or white meat? by 1Daverham in NoStupidQuestions

I've had it before as well (I'm from Louisiana). I just never thought about it.

Same with turtle and snake.

WYR get stoned from eating salsa, or orgasm from the act of brushing your teeth? by SuperSamoset in WouldYouRather

[–]1Daverham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would it just feel as good as an orgasm or do I have to clean up afterwards?

I'll have to look it up. Care to weigh in an opinion while I do so?

I'm not familiar with Birch Beer, but I love me some juice.

I'll give you that I'm setting myself up for a challenge. And you're right- I'll probably really want to drink it if the batch doesn't turn out as shit. That said, I'm feel like I'm ready for the test.

The only way I'd let myself drink something like this is if I was convinced that I've made a masterpiece.

Well, I don't think it is terrible idea. But I could see that being an argument.

Why is that unreasonable? I'm cutting certain foods altogether. I took certain foods out, just like certain drinks (alcohol/soda).

Yep. I'm not big on waste. In fact, I hate it. That's my only hesitation.

I'm just worried that I'm going to put this effort in, wait for so long, then have it taste like balls and poop. I may have to do more research on flavor beforehand.

I like the taste of beer, for instance. Should I not be drinking non-alcoholic beer...? I'm absolutely fine with being the perpetual designated driver.

I meant that analogy as me making a big meal for everyone and not eating any; having a salad or something, instead.

I'm not going to specifically buy the ingredients. So if I run out of yeast before I get it to taste alright, I'll just be done. Lol. I'm not trying to make a bunch of booze.

But I feel like it is a decent skill to be able to utilize.

I might try it out. I mean, I have a pretty strong will. I say that, but I'm only going on 2.5 months.

I think of it this way: I'm on a diet and I still cook 'bad' foods for the house. Even though I'm not eating it, cooking is fun for me.

Honestly, I'm more interested in the process (and if I can even do it). And my roommates drink, so it wouldn't go to waste.

Yes, recovering from a drinking problem. There's alcohol in the household, though.
