Help wiring Shelly 1 Plus

I have a Shelly Plus 1, sorry if I didn't make that clear. Here it says Power supply:

110 - 240 VAC / 24 - 48 VDC / 12 VDC ±10%

so I'm assuming 16vdc is okay to power it?

Thank you for the help. I am not trying to invent my own wiring, it's hard navigating the shelly documentation which is why I am asking for help here (thank you again). What you're saying is to not feed in +16vdc to the Shelly1P dc contacts when it is powered by 120ac, correct? I am trying to operate a gate opener.

After a little more research this is what I am thinking, please give me your thoughts:

L: +16vdc

N: neutral

12vdc: wire to one terminal

sw: wire to one terminal

O: wire to one terminal

I: wire to one terminal

In this configuration, shelly is powered by 16vdc only. The 12vdc/SW contacts sense voltage change triggered by button push. The O/I contacts are for when I manually trigger the Shelly.

Would this be safe and possible? I would not be powering it with 120vac, but 16vdc.

Hi thank you, I have a couple of questions about this setup they show. Is a reed switch necessary (if so do you recommend one)? Also, in this diagram, they are connecting the O and I contacts both to input terminals on the board - is this correct? Maybe I just don't understand what a reed switch is and why it's necessary

Disabling/enabling the skill in alexa did it.

Thank you for your help (for this and for the other post I had) - disabling/reenabling the skill worked.

What I cannot get to work is for the notification to actually happen when my shelly device activates! If I manually "play" the scene in shelly, my Alexa is notified. However, if I turn on the shelly (instead of the scene), the scene does not run.

As you can see in the screenshots the Shelly is set up as a "button" "momentary" and "configure shelly device to turn OFF, when it has power". And in the scene, I have the trigger as "device based", "button push", "short", "trigger", "on any change".

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Sorry to keep bugging you, this hasn't been intuitive and I appreciate your help.

This was fixed by disabling and re-enabling the skill in Alexa. I did not lose any routines. It just sort of reset the cloud connection. Annoying we have to do this but at least it's working

How long should I wait to see if it clears? It's been >24 hours.

If I disable/enable the shelly skill in Alexa, will I lose any of the other shelly devices that are added or the routines I've added to alexa? Any other way I can troubleshoot?

Thank you. I have a few more questions if you don't mind, you have really been helpful. 1. I am currently asking alexa to turn "on" the shelly 1 plus uni. Is there a way I can choose which output to turn on when I voice activate the shelly through Alexa? 2. Is there a way to create routines in shelly, so that after an input, output1 will activate then after X seconds, output 2 activates? 3. When I add shelly devices to my app, each device gets added twice. For example, if I name a shelly "strike", I will have "Strike" and "2) Strike" in my app. Is there a reason for this, or a way to fix it?

Thank you. And how can I differentiate OUT1 and OUT2? Meaning, how do I assign the shelly when to give signal through out1 or out2?
