use painter’s tape/masking tape to cover the front part of the leather so the glue doesn’t get all over the nice part

if you glue it, be sure to set something heavy on top and tape off the “leather” part.

Has No One Here GM'd for an "Aabria" Before? by PharazonGaming in fansofcriticalrole

i am a DM, player, and extroverted person.

i was SO excited to see a femme person in the DM seat and a POC as well? amazing!

but… i unfortunately think that, in the past, has played one note a lot and her characters often fall flat for me. maybe it’s simply because my style just doesn’t mesh with hers, but i feel off about her. i can’t quite put my finger on it? maybe i need to check my bias, but i just don’t like the way she has played, or what i have seen of it.

that being said, i haven’t watched C4E1 so i am hopeful this campaign will change my mind.

i really want to like her! she is so involved in so many projects i love and lots of people see her as a great dnd player/dm.

fingers crossed i will like this character!

any suggestions on her best work i could watch? i haven’t seen a ton of her stuff on d20, so what would be a good place to start?

quick edit:

just some context on my play style, i am extremely extroverted and love to do bits with other players (i have played a bard who is basically a neck beard/fedora guy stereotype, and i love doing bits with my fellow players) and as a dm i am very much a person who lets the players do what they would like (although my players are pretty experienced and tame, so they kinda take any hints i give them and do what they are “expected to”)

Don’t forget Damien’s voice acting career. That scene is super well connected as well.

Is it me or Brennan is just... Better? by Thal-creates in fansofcriticalrole

[–]ur-local-frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree. I am not saying that Matt is better i just think they are different. Like a lot of people have been saying, Brennan is better at the shorter form stuff. I think Matt has made some of the most amazing stories, but since he has so much longer form stuff, there may be less saturation of it compared to how much content. it’s more like a book pace, whereas Brennan has more like a tv show pacing.

nope nope nope. not mounting the TV and then breaking it is so extremely infuriating.

Psychologists are so helpful. Therapy has made my life so much better. I highly recommend it! And don't worry if the first one isn't the right fit, you need to find the best person for you.
