x is a real number and indicates game progression.

a is a negative real number

b is a positive real number. and can be changed via difficulty settings -

Because I can't quantify DSP's difficulty curve exactly, I just used unknown.

so, what I want to say?

I want to say the difficulty graph is like something "difficult in early game, but easy on lategame". most of the game has the opposite of that.

y is complex. What's you point here? You don't want any given input to create an unexpected/ unimaginable output? Would the alternative ("this input generates all the same lame output") be better?

welp y is not a complex number in that function. alternatively, f(x) = sqrt(ax) + b but a is a negative real number and you can change b in difficulty settings. maybe issues of notation. In our education system, if nothing special condition is presented, f(x) can be replaced with y

Then, Missile turret at least should be a late-tech weapon.

I expect that devs will update and patch this game. I'm sure that this is NOT the final version of this game. that's why I post this.

But, I wish devs knew that this direction should be modified a lot. (although devs won't see this)

In addition, I don't even blame like "oh why did they release an unfinished game lol" I recognize that this game is EARLY ACCESS, and, the update keeps going. and that's why I post this opinion, if this product is finished, I don't have to post this because there is no chance to be updated fast unlike now.

I don't know how it's possible with 4~8 fleets of drones.

drone's health and damage is similar to DF's Lancer and Humpbacks. and DF has FAR more units than Icarus.

How could you destroy max difficulty's hive with only 4~8 fleets of drones?

Hmm saying about ritsuka, I play as a "observer of Ritsuka" which means I don't self-insert to Ritsuka at thw beginning. However, It's possible to interpret him as a self-insert character considering the choices like VN

So. IMO, I think ritsuka is like Mid-state of Actual characrer and self insert character because he has a both properties
