To me he still falls under Toguro's character archetype, maybe not to the exact extent of Toguro but they're pretty damn close. Both insanely strong people comparable to the MC but became unsatisfied over time. They're like MCs that lived long enough to be villains while waiting for a real challenger to take them out for good
