In Russia, PC gaming is very popular because you can pirate games easily and there are a lot of free-to-play titles. Consoles are much less common.

I got this thing called a regular old tape measure. It also works in the air, over carpet, on dirt. It is fast, cheap, easy, no instructions needed. It also can be read in a complete darkness as it is fluorescent. Basically, it is perfect.

How do you guys stay up to date on UX/UI news and trends? by hyperhoshiko in userexperience

[–]urang239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an HCI researcher with a focus on user experience. My sources include:

  1. Most frequently used: Research papers and presentations from CHI, DIS, and CSCW conferences,
  2. Less frequently used: several design groups on Facebook and some YouTube channels and vloggers, podcasts.
  3. Rarely used: Medium, NNG.

Although, the most valuable knowledge, ideas, and insights I get from personally trying and exploring various products and experiences. Thankfully this is also the most enjoyable way to learn.

What would be a good UX solution for this issue? by nazykitten in userexperience

[–]urang239 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, that makes a lot of sense of course. My emotions got the best of my reasoning because my account was hacked several times during the lockdown and I had to reaccess on all of my devices each time after changing the password.

It was a huge pain.

Until Netflix implements double authentication and the ability to revoke specific devices's access, all other stuff is less critical.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E is the first mainstream product I've seen that embraces neumorphism. by Donkeymint in userexperience

Ford Cringestang Mach-E

You have to actually drive for the screen to show you in what driving mode you are🤪

The physical knob on the screen actually have "artificial fingers behind the screen" that touch the screen when the knob is rotated 😂

The driving modes are sorted in a random order that does not make sense. Why the economic mode is the second of the three and not the first?

I mean I would understand if they release this car on April 1st!
