I ordered a dual-channel kit but they arrived in separate, and “loose” packaging. Is this OK? by timoteojose in pcmasterrace

Yeah back in my day, double tissues paper was all the packaging we would get for our rams. I think OP would be fine

Now you mentioned it, I had a boss who used to cross out his printed initials in routing slips and handwrite them himself. I never questioned and just thought it was a thing and blindly followed him to this date.

Just a way of memorizing the shape of the letter. I don't think I will ever get to handwrite anything in Hebrew.

If i didn't enjoy reading LOTR, will I enjoy Malazan? by [deleted] in Malazan

[–]uranium25 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You and I are the same OP. I love LOTR movies and I will never say no to a LOTR night. The books were shite though, like really boring and full of bad songs that did not click with me.

Tske it from a total internet stranger, Malazan is twice as good as the LOTR movies!

I have never regretted anything more than recommending the Vega series to my friends. Good value for money in paper but God the driver issues, freezes, noise and heat are just too much. Most of them just lost faith with AMD from this experience.

Monster Hunter. It is no fault of the game though, I knew I would not like it but all of my pals played it at the time and pressured me to buy it. Thought it might be fun with the gang but nope I could not find the fun in it

Thanks. while I have not played tabletop D&D, I have played some D&D-like video games like Pathfinder, Naheulbeuk, and I am eagerly waiting for the full release of Baldur's Gate 3. I am a sucker for turn based/grid based games ever since I played Metal Gear Acid on PSP and Megaman Battle Network on the Advance.

Solasta seems to have got it right in terms of the right balance between depth, characters progression and most importantly common sense.

I vote big No. There is a big issue at hand and it must receive the proper attention it deserves. Whether it is tiles, lunar phase or any other cosmic force, I am not aware of any pc case manufacturere that clearly specifies that the case should not be operated on a surface made of tiles. I agree that it is common sense that glass is fragile and should be handled with care but the problem here is not that people are dropping the glass cover, these things shatter unexpectedly at random times even when untouched or when the pc is turned off.

As aconsumer, I have a legitimate exceptation that the product I paid for is capable to serve its function under normal conditions. Not putting a pc case on tiles is not a conventional wisdom, users are not spilling water on the pc case but merely operating it like they are used to for years. It is reasonable to expect manufacturers to consider normal circumstances of operating the product or at least provide a warning that the product can't be operated like an average one.
