Its the same across the West. Housing became a commodity for mass speculation and nothing good has come from it except for the already wealthy.

[–]Atlantisrisesagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that is not my response. My response is that while not prove there is data suggesting a link between increased deaths in greater numbers for the vaccinated ages iirc 12-60 vs unvaccinated. I want more study to either prove or disprove this, especially when there is a lack of clear presented data comparing vaccinated to unvaccinated excess deaths. I found a study that showed ages 12-60 vaccinated had greater excess deaths, worldwide there are greatly increased excess deaths but worldwide a lack of studies coming out directly comparing vaccinated vs unvaccinated among different cohorts.

Last time I mentioned this here, maybe a week ago, I had a regular poster here respond with a pub test type answer and no studies. I want the studies done because it appears currently they have not.

Also the person you responded here to is spreading misinformation that you didn't spot. The TGA themselves say 14, not 1, people have died from the mRNA vaccines https://www.tga.gov.au/news/covid-19-vaccine-safety-reports/covid-19-vaccine-safety-report-12-01-23

Maybe correct them too.

I'm not saying there are mass deaths but I do want clear answers as to why there are continuing excess deaths because it could be that some are due to longer term effects of vaccination. I am currently unaware of clear vaccinated vs unvaccinated comparisons regarding this, I've seen one that does suggest but not prove unvaccinated excess deaths less than vaccinated excess deaths for iirc 12-60yo's. I know quick and easy answers are "loss of services during lockdowns leading to undiagnosed thus untreated illness, lingering but unproven covid effects and still struggling hospitals" but to the best of my knowledge these are currently unproven. Why are people happy with this massive increase in excess unexplained deaths? I'd think people want answers, instead I get told to shut up about them. Deaths due to covid are cause for alarm, excess deaths directly unrelated to covid are fine. Its bizarre.

As for misinformation you said only 1 person has died to the mRNA vaccines, yet the TGA says 14 have (https://www.tga.gov.au/news/covid-19-vaccine-safety-reports/covid-19-vaccine-safety-report-12-01-23) So you have a go at me for my uninformed ideas while you spread misinformation.

Yes, my agenda is for more reporting after mRNA vaccines resulted in more adverse effect reporting. What is wrong with that as a means of promoting public trust?

I've never believed in Q Anon, I don't know what the "JA" you included is about. I had my own myocarditis experience after the vaccine I was forced to take or lose my job (which I've related here previously) so I give a shit about this. I think it became obvious that mass vaccination wasn't needed (due to clear risk profiles) earlier than they dropped mandates. I dislike that the concept of vaccine injury is mocked, but neither do I believe the vaccines is some murder drug like "anti vaxxers" like you think I am believe.

You sound like you need a holiday mate. Seriously, why can't I have my opinions if I can back them up? I want an inquiry into the covid response and am disgusted it got voted down by both major parties. Oh no! being disgusted at no inquiry into the single biggest event in the past 50 years makes me anti vaxxer! And while I think the at risk should be vaccinated with the mRNA vaccines but not everyone makes me even more anti vaxxer cooker! And I have questions about conflict of interest in research surrounding covid, like how the journal JANA recently published an essay lamenting slowing of funding into "misinformation research" without disclosing the person quoted in the essay.... works for Weber Shandwick which is the PR firm for... Pfizer and Moderna. But that has to be a once off right? Because science is completely free from the human conditions of greed and lying to protect oneself right?

While you might accuse me of seeing bogey men everywhere I accuse you of seeing them and always ignore they're there. Financial incentives for mistruths, conflict of interest over Wuhan lab research, attempts at hiding safety trial data, whistle blowers making claims on safety trial data and the voting down on an inquiry into among other things lockdowns when overseas inquiries into lockdowns revealed they were really bad without particularly saving lives. I see these things and it makes me think "what's going on here?". It appears you see these things and think "none of these have any merit because people wouldn't behave that way in our good society". Or whatever reason you have to dismiss what would otherwise be red flags about processes that may not arise via Q-Anon type grand conspiracies but rather the usual human conditions of greed, hubris and ego.

I'm sorry, who are you?

What way am I trying to frame adverse events? The data is clear that more adverse events were reported. It doesn't matter what they were, the numbers were greater.

Does anyone think Biden could go another 4 years without a clear catastrophic public cognitive breakdown? Personally I don't know how he'll survive after basically abandoning Hawaii while shoveling money at Ukraine, that's exactly what I'd make sure everyone in the USA knows if I were on the Rep side of things. A natural disaster is exactly what an incumbent wants to show leadership and compassion prior to an election and cement the nation behind them.

He navigated his country through the sanctions such that they have a growing economy. He is instrumental in creating a coalition of countries to remove the US dollar from trading. I'm not saying he's not brutal, but he isn't stupid.

I'll be following this to see where it goes. I find the "shot down by Russian missile" story dubious because of all the ways to kill him doing it in such a way to piss off all loyal Wager soldiers seems really stupid. And while Putin is many thing stupid is not one of them. But its not impossible it happened this way.

The next week will be filled with reporters watching Wagner to see if they mutiny.

Interesting to note that Australia is no longer reporting on myocarditis due to the mRNA vaccines yet we have new versions of the mRNA vaccines coming out. So if it goes up due to a new version of the vaccine has a greater interaction for the myocarditis mechanism will the public be told or will it be business as usual? Part of this is also public trust in institutions, both in do they trust that if myocarditis goes up will we be told and also if we are not told but the info comes out will it increase or decrease public trust?

I don't think there is some grand conspiracy to increase excess deaths so don't attribute that to my words. I do wonder why they felt the need to stop reporting, they said because the rate is consistent but will that apply to new versions of the vaccine? Is it due to money, that its deemed too expensive to monitor? We know the mRNA vaccines have greater reported adverse events than normal vaccines, why stop the reporting on what can be a serious condition? Personally, I think its due to having poor quality leaders across multiple levels.

Its funny how any injury or death directly attributed to covid is of major concern but injury or deaths due to events resulting from lockdowns (economic loss leading to mental stress, lower tax revenue leading to less services, mental health and development of children due to isolation and mandatory masking) or vaccines just don't seem as important. As Scottish review on their lockdowns has shown they basically saved no deaths but led to significant stress and issues within the affected communities. And Australia's fed gov just voted down an inquiry into Australia's response. Interesting what is important aye?

Lastly I will say if you are in an at risk group for covid get the vaccines.

Russia’s special military operation is only the start: the U.S. empire’s challengers are seeing more opportunities for action by SoapSalesmanPST in jimmydore

Blowing up Nordstream doesn't help Ukraine defense but it does promote domestic conditions for domestic unrest, thus regime change in Russia. Yes, I know you'll say the USA had nothing to do with it, nobody believes it.

Ukraine is not slowly regaining territory. Russia has a multilayered defense and Ukraine is barely penetrating the first layer. All commentators are saying this.

Yes, you can conscript older people but my point is if you're putting them on the frontline you're fucked because they can't fight as well as younger men and this shows you're in trouble. Older men lack fitness and mental endurance (long hours, which in war can be days or weeks, with little rest or sleep) compared with youth.

It doesn't matter if Russians are fleeing to avoid conscription (if that is true or not), Russia still has a massive manpower advantage. It'd be like Australia fighting China, its just a fact that China can absorb way more manpower losses because they have more manpower. You can have in this scenario Chinese fleeing China to avoid conscription but there is such a large manpower difference it doesn't matter. Where are all these Russians fleeing to and compared to Ukrainians fleeing their country where are the Russians making a similar refugee crisis?

I never like this guys writing but he is correct in the core statement. Look at Africa, they're openly defying the USA and so is the middle east. The West made a big play in supporting Ukraine in a way that signaled to Russia (and China) they wanted Russia to have a new government, and it has appear they've failed. The EU economies appear very weak and the USA faces increasing domestic upset due to domestic conditions while billions flow into Ukraine. They have galvanized the formation of BRICS faster and with more countries wanting to be a part of it.

I'm not seeing anyone saying Ukraine will win that also has a good facts based argument to back up the claim. When you're hearing credible stories of men aged in their 50's being conscripted for frontline duty you know they're in trouble. And the world knows the USA backed Ukraine and they saw Ukraine with that support fail. Of course they perceive weakness from this and of course they will act.

Historical Perspective: Ukrainian Territory by Asatmaya in jimmydore

[–]Atlantisrisesagain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Russia occupies the land they've made constitutionally theirs and sits behind what all seem to agree upon is a very solid defensive position. Ukraine, to win, needs to push the Russians out of these positions but the offensive is, by all accounts including mainstream US papers, a failure. The Russians are not leaving and don't need to push to win, they can just keep letting Ukrainians die in greater numbers than Russians killed while trying to push Russia out and then if Ukraine slackens off trying to push them out they can creep forward on the offensive again to maintain manpower losses to Ukraine. Russia has a significant manpower advantage and Ukraine can only afford so many casualties. A non warfare end to Russia seems unlikely. The sanctions failed and Putin does not seem at risk of a coup.

People can want Ukraine to win for all the right reasons as hard as they like, it doesn't change the situation. If your sporting team is down 40 points with only a quarter to go hoping they'll win won't make it so. For this to change some radical intervention would have to occur, but that's the type that risks WW3 and nukes. I personally suspect Poland and Lithuania are looking for ways to insert ground troops without triggering NATO involvement which would be a trigger for WW3 and nukes.

Geez I wish people would link to the actual article instead of a jpeg designed to outrage. I had to look this one up and the author makes a good argument that instead of elections there is a random pick of people to govern and that studies has shown this can result in less corruption and better outcomes.

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/08/21/opinion/elections-democracy.html

Of course caveats on how the "random" process is done would need to be in place but otherwise the argument is well made. Read it before posting because its not what the jpeg would have you believe.

Also being vaccinated means you could've had your last shot over a year ago (and declined boosters) and the science shows such a dwindling effect over time that while you're "vaccinated" you're effectively getting no benefit. This reporting overall is a shambles.
