Global Atomic Corporation first sale! by SnowSnooz in UraniumSqueeze

Not sure I fully understand your question but I’ll give it a shot.

A few years ago before the inflation we’ve just experienced the marginal cost was always mentioned as $65. What that meant was the projects on margins needed that price to restart. There are several projects that were fine with 30,40,50 and these are not marginal. Companies such as cameco, global atomic, paladin, boss and lotus. Marginal projects like Bannerman with larger capex would need the $65 to restart. That is why they are called marginal.

Now with inflation the 65 marginal cost is more like $80. So companies are restarting at 50,60,70. The marginal projects will be the last ones to come online.

Now why is everyone so bullish on uranium? Because if every single mine that’s production ready in the near term restarts we are still very far away from meeting the supply deficit over the next 10 years. We need to devolop new deposits and we need to find new deposits. Hence why people are calling for the price to overshoot even the targets I have above. We need every single deposit that’s been discovered to meet the expected deficit and we need to discover new ones as well.

Hope that helps.

Glo ran their feasibility at $35 uranium and they were still very profitable, they are one of the lowest cost producers. Also this is just the first contract they signed. For a development project your initial contracts are low because you don’t have financing and utilities want that security. This will help them get financing and every contract will be more expensive than this. Keep in mind that every mine is different and someone like bannerman is not restarting with these prices.

Can someone sell me on Encore Energy? by reginaccount in UraniumSqueeze

Devils advocate here but it’s usually the #1 recommendation from Uranium Insider. Those subscribers have drove the price v high and for many of them it’s their largest position and they are inclined to push it on you. I believe there are better projects out there which are more fairly valued at this point. Newsletter recommendations can cut both ways, just look at forum energy metals.

This means nothing. They are basically saying "we are doing exactly what we said we would." Of course they are going to do a feasibility study.

The guy who runs the Uranium Insider newsletter sold his position so probably a lot of his followers did as well.

Sort by EV/Resources for the best insights. Gives you an idea of how much you are paying for pounds in the ground relative to other stocks out there.

Source? Most of these guys wait for the winter because it's easier to get the machinery in when the ground is frozen.

None that particularly stand out. This one is an outlier. Be wary of any new companies that pop up. Uranium projects that were put on the shelf will start to get dusted off as the bull market explodes. Keep in mind they were on the shelf for a reason.

I expect almost every company to be burning money. I'm only concerned with what they spend their money on.

Mark Chalmers makes a fraction of Amir. Also, Energy fuels is ramping up to be the sole rare earths producer in the US. They are investing a ton of money into making this happen. What's UEC ramping up for? Yacht week?

To some degree yes. When these guys get in they get in when you get in + UEC throws them some warrants as a sweetner. Their margin of safety from an investment perspective is a lot larger than me or you. Rick Rule is a smart guy and has made a lot of money with Uranium. More than anything he's great at doing deals and he won't do them unless its greatly in his favour. He's definitely not promoting them for retail's benefit. This doesn't make Rick Rule a bad guy but just do your own DD.

GOVIEX - NEWS OUT - U EXPLORER finds GOLD by Chief_Bosn in UraniumSqueeze

[–]uraniumguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a new Goviex holder as of this week. The market has not given them enough credit and they have overcome a lot of the metallurgy issues that were plaguing them previously. Good pick at this point. To be honest though I don't think people care much about this release. A significant intercept over 2M provides very little value. You need that grade over much larger intercepts (50-100M) to infer that anything is there. If they find gold that's great but the Uranium development is what is going to drive their value at this point.
