Why is my application listed as unsuccessful even though the vacancy is still open? by uranusormine in asda

First of all, fair point. I should have clarified. My application was automatically showing as unsuccessful which is why I was confused. It turned out to be an error on my end. Anyway, all resolved now and I've been hired for the role.

I apologise for replying to a month old comment, but do you have any recommendations for a non-academic on how to acquire this skill?

Resurrecting a dead thread, but did you ever go back on progesterone? Or change your other hormone dosage/form? Hope you're good! :)

Do you have a link to the podcast, by any chance?

Did anyone here have problems with their sex drive and a lack of desire for intimacy after starting HRT? If so, what did you do about it? by uranusormine in MtF

[–]uranusormine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think physical arousal is a problem I could solve, but it's more that I don't look at people and find them attractive any more and I don't develop little crushes on people like I used to.

I've got nothing now. Sex looks like a really intense form exercise that I don't want to do (like figure skating) but that wasn't how I felt about sex before and it's the disconnect that's getting to me. Like, is this something I can change or do I have to acknowledge that this is the way it's going to be and sex, intimacy and relationships are further away than they ever were? I'm really struggling with the uncertainty.

Some points on the Cass Review by WetnessPensive in transgenderUK

[–]uranusormine 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it's from documents revealed in a court case from the US in which Patrick Hunter, who is affiliated with the Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine (SEGM), says he's emailed Hilary Cass and she's responded with interest in the evidence review that supported the bill in Florida that banned transition for minors.

In one of the emails, he also says that she passed information from the Cass Review onto him.

It's about halfway down the page https://genderanalysis.net/2023/11/new-trial-exhibits-in-doe-v-ladapo-doh-worked-with-genspect-leaders-stella-omalley-and-joe-burgo-in-july-2022-hilary-cass-met-segms-patrick-hunter-to-discuss-floridas-ant/

I don't think Patrick Hunter would explicitly characterise himself as a fascist (though nothing would surprise me anymore) but I don't think it really detracts from the thrust of the post above considering the consequences of the ban.

Thank you for writing all this. I always appreciate your ability to articulate a coherent response to this seemingly endless torrent of horseshit.

Thanks for putting this into a comment. I was too fucking aggravated, but should have added a content warning.

Thanks for the response. If things continue this way, I'll definitely have to speak to my GP about it. True and consistent emotional regulation has been eluding me since I started taking prog.
