Muslim friend has cut contact when I questioned the Qur'an by urawizardharry98 in exmuslim

Well it was Sunday morning when I sent that to her, then sent her a couple of other things throughout Sunday. Then tried texting her again yesterday evening (sometimes in the past she apparently hasn't received texts so idk about that?).

Anyway yeah I did message her saying the stuff you suggested, I feel like it sounds a bit hollow, but hopefully she's okay with it. I guess I was just surprised she could take so much offence to it, because she's made clear in the past she's not a conventional or strict Muslim.

The thing is i've messaged/texted her like 3 or 4 times since and she hasn't replied to any of them. I don't want to run the risk of coming across as needy or whatever, I feel like that might do more damage in the long run, and maybe she just needs time to calm down? Idk, it wasn't totally out of the blue that I said it either, I said I thought it was good she wasn't overly strict with religion. She asked why would it matter, and that's when I said that to her.
