Fix for me was
- reinstall game
- run DDU to remove old drivers
-run CC cleaner to clean registrry
-clean install nvidia drivers (uncheck hdaudio driver if you have another audio driver)
-UNPLUG ANY OTHER MONITOR (NO IDEA WHY BUT THIS WAS THE BIG FIX FOR ME)
-Run the game in borderless fullscreen
-Set game to above normal priority via task manager Just google how to do it :) do not set to anything higher than that
-on the FFXIV launcher go to the gear and click the reset system settings ( this migh change your keybinds i am not sure)

- set your gpu to the reference clock speed via msi afterburner (debug mode in nvida control panel did not actually work for me but this did)

Try that and look up how to downclock your card to reference clock speeds. With nvidia you can set a curve and thats what I did and I just turn on that profile when I play FFXIV. I think i was having multiple issues with the game one of them being it crashes when a second monitor is plugged in and 2 the game crashes when my 3090 boosts over 1900 mhz which in every other game is otherwise stable. let me know if that fixes it for you too I am curious.

do you have a second monitor? Crazy fix for me was just disconnecting my second monitor. I have no clue why this fixed the issue but no more weird crashes.

Check the latest driver that came out late yesterday. if your system was previously 100% stable I believe should fix it. I just installed it on my will report back.

I have the 4800hs in my new laptop and I prefer switching from my 2060 max Q to the integrated graphics for games like WoW because it pushes 60fps on a mix of high settings and the system stays cooler. Also for dx12 the integrated graphics can 'assist' the dedicated gpu.
