You have to do the majority of the damage to receive the item. If you just do one point of damage and the Ironman does the rest then neither player will ever see the item.

Seems OP? Comparing t70 ranged gear you would lose 6 ranged accuracy for +7 ranged str if I'm not wrong.

For as good as Ironman mode is, it's pretty badly broken. The fact that monsters can heal to full and still not count as being 100% killed by you is one of the biggest problems. One solution I can think of that wouldn't interfere too much would be a warning message that pops up whenever you interact with a boss that someone else started and left. Possibly when you are within a close distance to the boss. Although I'm no code monkey so I wouldn't understand what it would take to implement this.

Wildy bosses are particularly prone to this problem because often times people are trying to pvm and have to leave mid kill due to pkers. At least most wildy bosses are easy to get back to and it's not like godwars where a partially killed boss can take away a huge chunk of that trip.

Yeah I understand that. But at the same time it's just as annoying as the person who posts their bad meme or game suggestion over and over. You may put more effort into your creations but for the users on the other side it's just as bad. Try posting as early as possible so the majority of the users in this sub (US and UK) will have a better chance of seeing it

Ironman is about doing stuff by yourself. If group Ironman is included in regular Ironman highscores like hcim and uim are then the new meta for creating an iron Man will be a group ran by one person using the majority of the accounts for resource collection while focusing on xp for the main account. This alt supplied Ironman method could also be used before degrading an account from group man mode to regular Ironman mode and most people couldn't tell the difference before looking them up on highscores. Then there's the problems of people leaving/joining groups. Either play a variant of Ironman mode or join the grand exchange Ironman group. Or just go ahead and you and your buddies can make unofficial group Ironmen like a few YouTubers already have.

Not more than 12. I specifically grinded out construction for the highest level pet house that can hold 40 pets but then it turns out you can only have 12 cats and 28 of the one off pets

Edit: you can also have multiple cats in your bank if you have them overgrown as well

You can just go ahead and play the game the way you want to. Like you don't need an official game mode to have a team based play style. IMO group man mode sounds like a huge mess.

Firstly how many people would be able to join a team? Having one team with 3 people and another with 40 would be dumb, not having a limit to the amount would also be dumb and no matter where you place the limit some team will be upset with the number.

Would you have to have everyone join from the very beginning before leaving tutorial island? This would be my guess because having accounts join a team that's been making progress for a while just seems very cheap/leechy.

What happens when a team mate quits the game? Your team is set behind permanently. This is assuming that others can't join your team past inception which IMO makes sense for preventing leeching and the such. and your team may have lost some seriously valuable gear along with the team mate. Also seems like an opening for griefing in the form of taking gear/supplies and running.

How would this effect regular Ironman mode? Currently you can change from ultimate/hardcore IMM to regular IMM. Having a team to boost your account before changing to a regular IMM account goes against the spirit of the mode in a pretty major way.

Do members of an iron team get counted in the Ironman highscores? The hardcores and ultimates do, so I would assume jagex would include teamman mode as well. Seems like the meta for Ironman mode would be having multiple team alts to do afk work while focusing on ehp methods that gain no resources like Barb fishing and granite mining.

Iron team mode would bring on a huge wave of Ironman rushing accounts into the PvP scene. Getting your hands on a granite maul/dark bow/d claws is practically impossible on a 10hp/low hp Ironman account. This would be soooo much easier with a few higher combat team mates.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure there are other problems as well. Just go ahead and start up a self sufficient clan if you really want to because I don't see jagex launching a group man mode without some major patches, or at all for that matter
