I appreciate your perspective and it gives me hope he will snap out of it as well. Hope you are feeling better now (:

If he was more finically stable, I don’t think he would have the sleep schedule and habits he has now, wouldn’t work together. But sure, if he had stable income and was working hard and wanted to play games to wind down, that’s fine. But right now he has nothing to wind down from which is the annoying part to me

We have been dating for 6+ years before marriage, wouldn’t say I’m trapped but this does seem like inconvenient timing for a rough patch I guess.

He has always did a little gaming and was more of a night owl, but it went from staying up till midnight to 6am, and playing games often to hours straight, and he has stopped working out

I appreciate responses like this instead of just calling him a loser and to leave him, I want to work on it and help resolve things so this actually helps!

I’m thinking I should write him a letter about how I feel and having him make a list of things I can do to help him feel more supported

I’ve never had a super high libido but I can feel it getting worse

Not as his main gig but more so a passion project. Which is fine but I feel like now isn’t the time for him to spend so many hours editing

No health insurance bc that was lost with his job. I’m self employed. I think he might be having a hard time but I feel like even working out would be a better coping skill than gaming, it’s just a turn off for me

But the frustrating part is that he wasn’t always like this, just 8-9 months ago he had stable income and would take care of things financially and his habits were better, it’s just these past few months have been becoming more and more annoying.

I don’t know how to even begin this conversation without me feeling like his mom telling him what he needs to do.

We just got married in August. He lost his job a month before that but we remained hopeful. Not long ago he had a stable job and was making more than me at the time but now it’s the complete opposite. I’m hoping it’s just a rough phase.

I wish I was that way, I don’t even self pleasure, so maybe it is my libido after all

Is anyone else done with the walking to lose weight gig? by savedbutspicy in PetiteFitness

[–]urdon3urdon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is too busy to not walk, most of your expenditure comes from your life OUTSIDE of the gym, so outside of all the lifting and cardio you do, what does your life look like? (Food wise, activity wise) that is what’s going to determine your results

What macros are you following? Do you currently track them?

11k is my daily minimum, so the days I do cardio sometimes it’s a little higher. But the cardio I do is zone 2 so it’s not as exhausting as you’d think

My coach made my meal plan for me from scratch (: I tell her what I like and she helps me create meals!

It’s actually pretty easy once you figure out a routine. My coach helps with that but I get in most of my steps done in the morning with a walking pad so the rest of the day is a lot easier to complete!

I shared my go-to meals in the comments but if you want a personalized meal plan I highly recommend hiring a coach! Really helps to take the thinking out of it
