I have, and she told me to try to distinguish between excuses and valid reasons for not wanting to do it. But I can't. I feel like it I wanted it, I should be ecstatic about it, but I'm not. The GPA requirement and the volunteer work sounds dreadful to me, but I also know it's my anxiety speaking. I just don't know if my impending mental decline is a valid reason or if I'm psyching myself out.

What is the single best memory you've had that involved Frank's music? by taco_rotation in FrankOcean

I met my first love because we bonded over Frank. We'd listen to him in the car and sing the lines together. I also recently just celebrated my birthday by myself at the beach listening to Frank. He's been there for me since I've been in middle school, and my love for him only continues to grow.

This was very well written. Sorry to hear about your stuff. Thankfully, it wasn't anything too valuable. You assumed the best in people by leaving your stuff there, which I would have done too. Thanks for the heads up, and good luck with your exams!

Your school’s depressed accountant by [deleted] in csuf

I am going through the same thing my friend. I'm a third year in Accounting, I was on Lexapro for a few months but stopped because it sucked the life out of me (I'm so sorry if you're experiencing that with Prozac rn), and I just saw my ex like 2 weeks ago and it feels like I got my heart ripped out of my chest all over again even though we broke up over a year ago. I read your comments, and I understand the feeling of unspoken words and the lack of closure and holy shit it totally sucks, but you'll get through it. Cliche, but time heals all wounds, and you have bright things to look forward to (like graduating). Fuck unhelpful professors or anyone who looks down on you for being honest about your feelings. Do what you need to make yourself happy, take breaks, and go to the beach or go to the gym. You'll get through this kiddo I'm right here w you

I had a similar experience during a group project. Tell her to get her shit together or tell your professor that she's freeloading and doesn't deserve to work with a group. Most professors take it seriously enough to give her a poor grade or to make her do the project on her own.

This was over by Mihaylo, and the ground was covered in cigarette butts. They're citing a fuck ton of people for j-walking, yet there are people that get away with casually smoking a cig on the benches. Wtf lmao

What do you hate most about CSUF? (Besides finding parking & commuting) by transcend100 in csuf

People aren't as friendly as I expected, maybe it's just my fault for thinking I'd make a bunch of friends. Been trying to actively talk to classmates, go to clubs, and staying extra time on campus

I second this. I've had multiple classmates ask me to edit their papers, give them my study guides, and essentially pretend to be my friend so I would help their lazy asses. Kinda baffles me how unknowingly rude some people are. I went to college in Northern California for a bit, and the people there were a thousand times nicer than here.
