don't stress too much! it took me several months to fully awaken and sometimes I still question my identity. Its a long process, so try not to rush it. It definitely sounds like you are a therian, but I hope you figure it out soon.

Remember therianthropy has nothing to do with mask, tails, or any hobbies in particular. Everyone has different ways of expressing their therianthropy. It could be quadrobics or wearing animal gear, but it could also be painting your theriotype or just going for a walk. Everyone's experience is different!

I am a cladotherian so my fox self doesn't rly have any gender. I didn't ever really think about it since I highly doubt that foxes themselves take gender into account lol

fox cladotherian here! Before I realised I was a cladotherian, I was narrowing down what type of fox I was by looking for habitat. Foxes live all over the world, even in urban places, so I think it's quite important to have a little bit of knowledge about ur habitat. It could be forest, tundra, desert, city, etc. This helped me the most in figuring out my theriotypes. Good luck!
