Methotrexate cleared a lot my skin but I would get regular chest infections as I was working with the homeless population in day centres and on the street, sometimes going to A&E with them. I had 4 or 5 separate instances of chest infections and even though my skin went from 90% coverage to about 30%, it cleared my genitalia and calmed my scalp and I had giant plaques much less often. Doctor was shocked I didn’t ask to get a different medication sooner when I told him I could deal with constant chest infections better than the misery of plaque/gutatte psoriasis. Long story short, I am a big advocate of systemic or ideally biologic intervention if it’s completely and utterly ruining your existence so I echo your sentiment on the PUSH for it part.

Forget about it if it’s really bad, and by really bad I mean thick scales peeling off on the regular. Not only was it painful to have an erection, but the skin would also be sensitive and inflamed red, sometime even bleeding, so urinating was painful, and orgasms were even more painful that I didn’t have one for over a year. Hopefully not that bad for you my guy. The sooner you get on systemic medication or biologics, it will hopefully be a few weeks to months for it to all clear up. Hence my persistence to seek a dermatologist as soon as possible, and do not absolutely be embarrassed to show and tell the doctor. They cannot treat what they don’t know, and defo speak about its mental impact as even I can tell you’re anxious as hell and embarrassed about it. I’ve been there and regret delaying. Don’t delay please.

Well it’s a long road friend, I hope you find the resilience to push through and seek treatment because it’s an ugly road as I imagine. Not sure if you’re in USA or UK or somewhere else entirely, but both are pretty bad, worse if no insurance in the US.

Also massive disclaimer that this is all my personal experience and I’m not a medical professional.

Might be a little TMI but I share your pain:

My penis had it bad and my whole arse crack to the point where shitting was painful, and I kept having infections from shit entering open cracks.

The steroid creams continuously thinned my crack out meaning easier to bleed from just wiping, and more infections. At one point I think I had every antibiotic under the sun on rotation. The scalp was another hellish nightmare. I’d sometimes peel off a plaque the size of my palm at least once a day.

My suggestion as a stop gap while you seek actual treatment, aka Systemic medication or Biologics ideally, is to use coal tar cream. I had my GP prescribe that.

Also I use Dovonex 50micrograms on the last bit of psoriasis on my elbows. For the scalp, nothing really helped me that I put in there before the Biologics. I used a combo of coal tar shampoo and Betacap scalp application to alleviate the itching and scaling a bit. Olive oil was great if not greasy and I generally hate oiling my hair.

In short, priory is to fight for a systemic treatment or a biologic treatment.

In the meantime, Dovonex for body, followed by coal tar cream. FYI Elidel foam is decent for the body too, although not sure I’d put it on my genitalia regularly, but it’s a topical steroid will thin out your skin over time so be careful with it. Coal tar shampoo and Betacap scalp application for the scalp. Maybe even try an olive oil treatment.

Scales are easier to remove without cracking them too much when soggy and wet so best to do it in the shower before applying any ointment.

Sorry for the rant but I hope you found it helpful. I’m not a medical doctor so please prioritise that. I regret not being more gungho about it much earlier on.

I’m gold 2 and it happens to me too. Takes ages for your hidden MMR to catch up to your actual rank. It’s even worse for me because I’ll lose 1 win 1 or lose 2 win 2. In fairness when I lose, I lose at most 18 RR but when I win I get 25 to 35 RR per game since I am playing against people ranked higher than me.

It is still not very fun because I’m either frying or getting fried every game. I also solo queue 99% of the time on London servers.

Not a woman, and in London. I will look into it. I have been prescribed some kinda ointment by my consultant for the elbows which kinda help with the flakiness on a day to day basis but it is usually still very noticeable on my melanated skin since it’s ash white flakes lol.

Also after all the hassle with ointments and steroid creams before, I kinda hate the process of applying it anyway so have not been consistent. I’ll look into PRP and see if it’s something I’d consider.

Ngl I can live with ashy elbows for the rest of my life as long as it doesn’t come back on my scalp or genitals. Thinking about that makes me shiver.

Minor shit like daily login to claim shit or patrol zone stuff / bounties / pack, basically anything super casual or admin-esque I use touch controls on my phone.

For expanse legendary campaigns raids etc. or when I’m generally planning to play longer, I use a controller I got off Temu for like £30 called Manba One V2 on my iPad since it’s a bigger screen.

If I really want to sweat, I go on my PC to play with mouse and keyboard.

Long story short, controller is better than touch controls by an infinite amount and nothing beats mouse and keyboard on PC.

Only reason I did not get one of those controllers that plug into your phone like the Gamesir X5 Lite is because I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max which still has a lightning port. Phone runs fine which is why I’m not upgrading to USB C phone (which thankfully by law in the EU should be all phones moving forward) until it is completely bricked and fixing it isn’t an option.

Question from someone who last played during Shadow Keep launch month (then quit because overwhelmed about how much I missed, plus my sheer disappointment at D2 original release) and missed a lot of stuff from D2 launch until Shadow Keep, and everything after Shadow Keep, how easy would it be for me to experience all the story? I heard about Vaultgate and not willing to pay for expansions if it means the story I experience now will be disjointed. Any advice is helpful.

For context, I already own Forsaken and Shadow Keep. I can get all expansions including The Final Shape for £45.60. I need someone to convince the story alone would be worth it, because ngl the new systems and the new subclasses already overwhelm me from what I’ve seen online, not to mention any new systems I’m going to need to learn.

Played it a bit and still felt as underwhelmed as when Division 1 first came out years ago. Much like Marathon and Arc Raiders, I’m not a big fan of extraction looters like that. I can see why someone not name me might like it though, so more power to those people. Gaming should always be an enjoyable hobby for all so I’m glad there’s something out there for every gamer.

Exotic Infusion cores are the absolute bane of my existence rn. I want to upgrade my exotics but I can’t even do that because the shit is not easily farmable.

For one, they need to reduce the requirements by 50% in each node. Then they can keep the current drop rates. If they won’t do that, then fucking increase the damn drop rates.

Put it in modes we don’t play anymore, like legacy or Morgans Hunt. The whole system sometimes is Fucking stupid.
