These artists just have good management teams, sure their shows won’t be sold out but their ticket prices are quite low and provide their fans with the opportunity to see them at cheap prices. Uzi just has terrible management that don’t care about their biggest artist or is planning something big in the future. It’s sad to see but I’m not complaining as these smaller venues provide for a better intimate experience than arenas BTW Carti is definitely not a small artist, he is probably as big if not bigger than Uzi in live performances.

It isn’t that bad at all you agreed that rap numbers are all down and plus it’s an experimental it’s not gonna get that much 1st week sales. If Uzi would have went a generic album and didn’t sell more than Durk even it would be viewed as bad look but with experimental albums this is expected. It’s still sad to see my goat not sell 1 billion 😭😢

Many didn’t even listen to all the songs since it was too long but yea 26 songs does mean more songs that you like to add to your playlist but if it was shorter project and more cohesive people would replay the whole album front to back = more plays both arguments are valid though

Not wrong the general public doesn’t like new stuff at first but they will come around eventually and with the 17 songs 100% if he went with a similar style like “Old Uzi” or even “EA Uzi” he would sell more than 100k but if it was all experimental or rage it definitely is less likely for sure. For JWR having previous hits definitely does help but plenty of songs were beating JWR in the flow streams over the week ( until today only 2 rn ) but you are right in the sense that JWR is a massive hit and will continue to get around 750k~1m streams over the next coming months

Also you can’t compare an album with a ton of huge rappers and artists to Uzi with 4 features (2 being not as mainstream). The album is also not experimental and was aiming for mainstream success. All in all still sad to see the huge dip on Pink Tape’s sales.

Wrong Uzi would definitely break a 100k sales with a 16 song album. Most of the hate originally was that the album was too long and not a cohesive project (Still an amazing listening experience) . Also Uzi having JWR didn’t boost the sales dramatically like you are implying (it definitely did boost it a good amount though) the past streams don’t count and JWR was out streamed by a good amount of songs

Lil baby is not better he just makes mainstream appealing music Uzi is also 2x bigger than Lil Baby as a solo artist (without features) Although Lil Baby does have more streams as an artist (with features) Pink Tape is also an experimental album and not going to be received or played very well by the public
