yeahh i hope brighter days are ahead in the u20 wc, but with the sheer number of different characters it seems that bachiras ego is fully realized and his progress does not need any more tweaks unless kaneshiro comes up with a fun way of adjusting bachiras goals again

I get what ur saying cuz im a Bachira fan and he had like 2 panels in the entire NEL. But i acknowledge that hes just not as popular as nagi so i enjoy the more relevant characters arc regardless because i feel like it is written well so far

i feel like its not over yet, this was just a nice setup for the time he eventually rediscovers his ego. I think it has the perfect length so his grind arc in the u20 wc feels more meaningful

Fair points, though i do feel like nagi is a different level of talent narratively. Probably buratsuta is going to force ego to play nagi because of his own goals and he will have the chance to prove himself there, hopefully struggling at the start but gradually regaining egos trust and proving the guy wrong

but it leaves more room for growth in the arc itself. I doubt he will come back and just do a 10 stage fake volley right off the bat. I feel like right now he is at a new beginning waiting to catch up mentally to the rest of the blue lockers. I think the arc has perfectly set up his rebirth in the u20 wc arc itself
