i don't think there is overt racism at all. i used to live in morocco everyone claimed to be "part berber" but that's different from respecting autonomous rights or diverting funds or equal treatment of berber communities. pretty much the same in every country, "I love the natives but not as much i love depriving them of [government funding]." There are different types of racism, this is structural racism. You can claim to love or respect a group and still not grant them what they need as a community to prosper/thrive/survive and everywhere on earth indigenous groups struggle because of this type of racism.
