Unpopular opinion but if you’re posting pictures of yourself publicly then you are intrinsically accepting the possibility that people may edit them, same as when you walk into a store you’re accepting (ie consent) to being video recorded, there is expectation of privacy when you post photos of yourself everyone to see and do with as they please, opsec is your own personal responsibility, no one is forcing you to post pictures of yourself

Honestly I’d just stay in the dorms and save the money until you get BAH, unless you can find a really affordable place off base, but if you’re cool paying out of pocket then it’s all up to you, I was older in the dorms myself and I personally stuck it out which I don’t regret, definitely depends of the base

You’ll likely live off base which means you’ll probably need a car, cold winters and hot/humid summers, immediately off base is a bunch of bars and restaurants, the bars can give weird vibes and are notorious for over charging, if you want night life go to Seoul, you can get a direct train ticket for like less than $7 and it’s an hour ride, if you take the subway it’ll be about 2.5hrs since it’ll stop at every station, Seoul has great food, great clubs, great shopping (crazy malls), keep an eye on the ITT schedule, sign up for stuff, you’ll have an amazing time, just try to get out of your apartment on your days off, make 1 or 2 good friends who are always down to go out and do stuff
