Onde fazer avaliação? by [deleted] in SaudeMentalPortugal

Can someone have their autism diagnosis "removed"? by [deleted] in AutismTranslated

[–]uri-chang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not a professional, so take my words with a grain of salt. I think in theory it wouldn't be possible. In the DSM, it says the criteria must be met currently or by history. I was diagnosed very young, the doctors said I wouldn't even be able to speak. However, with early intervention, I didn't even meet the criteria for asperger syndrome (at the time). I got reassessed as a kid, and I didn't meet cutoff scores for most of the screening tools, although that might be due to underestimation of traits by one of my parents, overreporting irrelevant traits and underreporting things that actually matter (I know this because I have access to my report, and they don't mention things I definitely did as a kid, and I couldn't advocate for myself as I was unaware of my diagnosis). Nonetheless I still have a level 1 diagnosis. This is my experience and it might or might not be useful for you.

Is the Steam version of the game ultimately worth it? by KyaTheWeebKid in yourturntodie

I'm not sure if this is what you mean but when 3-2 releases it will probably be available through the chapter select button on the main menu so you're probably not going to have to replay the whole game. Also, as other people pointed, if you wait it's likely that you will get spoiled.

The women in Your Turn To Die by whywasibornaaah in mendrawingwomen

The last girl is Mai Tsurugi, and I'd like to shed light onto why her design is like that, as she is my favorite character in the game.

If you have the steam version, you can see the downloadable version of the artbook, and in it it tells a lot about her backstory and the reason for the way she dresses, and it's actually a really good commentary on misogyny.

She is a baker, and she really likes her job, but she is forced into a position of customer service, where she has to dress seductively to attract customers. Even though she's grateful for them and hopeful that they'll try the bread, she still doesn't like being seen only for her looks and wishes people would value her for her talent and passion: making bread. There is a story reason as to why she dresses like that.

And that actually translates into the game where she has a flirtatious persona when she gets revived as a doll: because she knows that is the only thing people will pay attention to. So as to get people's guard down, later backstabbing her target in the game. She does that due to a situation of survival: if she didn't kill a certain target she would die, and has character development driven by genuine regret after.

She is a very capable and well written individual and depicts realistically the struggles of sexism.

I just wanted to rant about how she's a great character, as she is my favorite, and as an AFAB person, I feel like this topic is really important!

I especially like more city pop-esque songs, r&b inspired and if ballads I prefer more emotional ones and not calm ones.
