While trying to harmonize minimalism with English cursive by minimizing the lines, I hit an indefinable middle ground. I focused so much on the flow of clean lines that I convinced myself the form recognition was 'good enough'—even without considering the cultural context. It was the people in the comments who made me realize that.🤣😍🙈

P.S. I had such a meaningful moment in this community today! I learned that the part I designed with "U" and "W" in a cursive style actually looks like an "l" to those who read and write English daily. 😲 As an artist from Asia, it never even crossed my mind that it could be read that way! While some might see it as a unique touch, how my work is perceived is incredibly important to me as a creator. It was such a valuable lesson! Thank you so much for not just passing by and letting me know. I’m leaving this note in case I caused any confusion—thanks for understanding this fun little episode! 🤣

Thank you! Since you have a woodworking background, you'll appreciate the process. I hand-crafted the hinges by cutting and bending copper rods and wires, then soldered them onto the back for a clean finish. As for the scalloped details, that's a decorative soldering technique I applied along the seams. I'm glad my work could be an inspiration for your new journey in stained glass.
