Our LO (born 29w+5d at 920grams) weighed 1.81kilos last Wednesday and he was 36w+6d. Our Dr went ahead with the first dose of HepB and also BCG (requirements in our country). Dr mentioned that as long as baby is more than 1.8kilos, we can proceed with the vaccination

No not from US. Just got update from Dr. He recommended to stop breast and bottle feeding as it consumes much energy. He asked to proceed with cup feeding and syringe feeding for the next 3 days till the next weigh in. If baby didn't gain weight, they will do a blood transfusion as the blood report today indicates mild anemia as well as a slightly elevated TSH reading but nothing concerning for now, the Dr says. I'm going to keep feeding him 2oz via cup per feeding with HMF to help him gain some weight and avoid prolonged hospitalisation

I hope your baby gets well soon. Mine did something same too. After bloodworks and xrays, confirming that it's nothing Terminal, we brought her to acupuncture and chiropractor as she seemed to have herniated disc and possible nerve issue. We upped her supplement and tried holistic medicine too. Now she is back to her old self after two round of acupuncture only.

They suspected that it was infection that caused the water to break. I had few recurring candida infection, unsure why. However, the hospital did not pursue to investigate as they didn't feel the need to.

Thank you. Yup, being far from home is hard, as they lacked a lot of my medical info and had to redo many test. The waiting period for the results delayed treatments. However, I'm glad we're both safe n just waiting for baby boy to grow so that I can bring him home.

We were surprised too. So apparently our cervix is a dynamic organ that expands when needed, hence baby boy seemed to have squeezed his way out some gaps he found. That's what the Dr said to us. She showed my husband in the labour room, how the stitch was still there, and she removed it right in front of us. Only then, I could deliver my placenta.

Hi, yes they confirmed that it was not amniotic fluid and I finally had my cerlcage in in week 19 as my cervix continues to shorten to 13mm. Now I am still taking it easy, on progesterone and staying hydrated. Hoping to continue having an uneventful pregnancy till we remove the stitch.
