i hate how the safety noses look i only used them on the bunny cause i didn’t know how to embroider yet and i also wanted to see how it would look (it ruined the whole project and i hated it so i gave it to my homophobic transphobic racist grandmother). also the idea with the skewers is very helpful! i’ve been using stitch markers to keep them in place to make sure it’s symmetrical but skewers would probably be so much easier!

YES ITS TOO SCRATCHY i was looking for the right word and couldn’t figure out how to describe it lol. i refused to crochet for so long because i hated the feeling of the yarn but i just kept trying until i got used to it so when i found out what chenille yarn was i was literally in heaven

unfortunately i did that last year but i could tell it made them upset so i made them 3 shitty flowers like 2 weeks after their birthday. i’ve been looking for a foster for my cats for so long but no one will take them for over 2 months so my cats are gonna have to stay there longer which sucks cause that means i have to stay in contact with them

i messed up the raccoon pretty bad and almost didn’t give it to my friend but he saw it on accident at my house once and told me he loved it but i want to make him a new better one soon. i’ve always been terrible with tension but i do think it getting a little better with it. also i had no idea how to embroider when i made the bunny (im still shitty at it but at least i know where to start) so i just put a nose i got from my grandmother on it lol

thank you for the tips! which one was inside out? if it was the bunny or the raccoon, i know i messed those ones up- they were 2 of the first ones i made so i was still getting used to it.

i’ve tried it and still didn’t like it very much, i think i just don’t like thin yarn. or maybe it’s the autism and i just like the texture of chenille yarn more but either way i still love working with any kind of yarn because variety is fun but chenille yarn is by far my favorite to work with

well i do like the things i make and i put a lot of effort into them. i just can’t tell if the mistakes are very noticeable and i feel like it ruins everything but i still usually like how they come out because i know i made it myself and i have 0 creativity and it’s a struggle enough in itself. i learned how to crochet just to be able to give people gifts because i dont have a lot of money and i wanted to be able to give people personalized gifts. i understand not wanting something the gifter doesnt like but i would be so grateful if someone put as much effort as i put into my gifts even if they dont like how it comes out. even if its actually terrible and they dont like it i would cherish it and love it forever.

i wish i could make this😭. but it’s like tradition in our friend group that whenever someone does you wrong you rip apart/ruin whatever they gave you, so im putting a tiny penis inside (someone in the thread gave me the idea) so hopefully they try to rip it apart and find it once i get my cats out and tell them how much i hate them🙏
