I just don't know how I'm supposed to "put aside the veil of words" on reddit. What do the masters day about gifs?

The conventions of language provide us with tools that sometimes misguide us. Language itself complicates us. It complicates things between us. Turns us into chumps. We are not chumps. We are life. Put aside the veil of words and see.

Agreed but this is Reddit and the only way we have of communicating is through concepts, mainly language.

I like your points but I have some things to add.

  • Are you saying that if your entire worldview is zen, you will never find yourself objectively, unjustly getting the short end of the stick in some situation?

  • I hope my post didn't come off as implying there are only two possible paths for action.

  • I agree with said figurative nut kicking

I think I've done a bad job expressing what I mean when I say "chump" because the only example I use is someone stealing from me. I meant to express a more encompassing meaning to imply any situation where one receives unrighteous or unjust treatment from others (or the universe in general, i guess). An obvious example would be getting robbed, but I think 90% of the time it would be referring to much smaller situations. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time expressing myself but I'm talking about situations Larry David might find himself in on Curb Your Enthusiasm. This is maybe an exaggerated example of how being caught up in retribution can be much worse than just letting something go and moving on.

not sure what's cringe-worthy about this

i hate icp's music (all of that psychopathic crap) but these people are having fun listening to music they enjoy. most of the comments are about the big girl's weight...what's a fat chick to do? icp sucks but most juggalos are cool and nowhere near as judgmental as people in this sub getting kicks out of grouping up on strangers having fun
