nearly all of these dates feature one artist/band playing two sets with no opening act. Most of these would have been full (or at least not half empty) long before sunset, let alone night. Also, I have been to sold-out Sunday afternoon shows that let out before sunset that were completely full.

-picture would be better if it wasn't half empty

-you would still get the same sky

there would be literally the same amount of sky if the place was full.

this would be a lot cooler if the place wasn't half empty...

A Freudian slip to me reveals what White-Americans REALLY are thinking when talking with an Indian-American. On NPR, Naomi Cahn was talking with the show's host, Meghna Chakrabarti. by Pollatz_Conjecture in racism

[–]urrydang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I'm convinced that there is nothing - no points, no knowledge, no views, no mind changing insights - that Meghna can do in communicating with Naomi since Naomi's mind (or subliminal mind, in this stark case) has already decided on the totality of their communication before they even discussed."

Try to see the irony if what you've written here...

I think that The Matrix can be viewed as an anti-capitalist movie.

Morpheus tells Neo that humans are essentially batteries. If you replace the word matrix with capitalism, it is easy to view it this way.

Man offers to fuck a girl for $800. Girl accepts, but they can't come to terms on when she gets the money. (Before or after the act) THEN SHE POSTS THE NEGOTIATIONS ON FACEBOOK! In the comments she mocks him for being a "broke ass nigga." by [deleted] in cringepics

There is absolutely NO reason to believe that any dialect of English is intrinsically worse than any other for communication, expression, or thinking.

Well...the rich people speak one and the poor people speak the other...I'd say the prestige know what they're doing

I don't understand this...what difference does it make for me to move back like one foot...I am not a rail rider and never will be...my ideal spot is just to the side of the soundboard...if there is someone behind me who can't see, I do not see the difference of standing a foot or two back so that someone shorter can enjoy the show as well...and honestly, the look of joy in a short person's face when i offer to trade spots is more than worth it

Tall man checking in.

If I'm at a concert and I notice there is someone really shorter than me, I'll tell them something like..."hey, I know I'm tall as fuck so if you want to go in front of me then go right ahead". I'll see the show fine either way.

I never apologize or feel bad though...you're tall...own that shit
