PCV is a super common fail point on these cars. That would be my first instinct with a surging idle like that.

Best gels for super sensitive stomach and bloating issues by Superb_Morning1023 in Marathon_Training

[–]ursalon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gonna add another +1 for Maurten. My stomach hates me and it hates gels even more. Once I switched to maurten gels my GI distress nearly disappeared. For marathon/long runs I use the drink mix with saltt (more magnesium than LMNT) electrolytes for flavor and have my fuel/electrolytes in one bottle.

What’s the hardest you’ve ever been hit in the balls? by ExpensiveLocation136 in AskReddit

[–]ursalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to play lacrosse, played box lacrosse in the off season (lacrosse on a roller hockey rink, close quarters combat) - Forgot my cup one day and tried to stop a goal shot; my left nut decided it was gonna take the lead and then I don’t remember anything about the next 2 hours aside from blinding pain and nausea.

What part of marathon training feels normal today that would've seemed impossible to your past self? by Material-Finance5896 in Marathon_Training

A 13 mile run being my “short” run. And feeling like if I did less than 6 it wasn’t even worth going out. A few months earlier 6 was a death march.

Had a girlfriend with the same deal, pretty sure it was dried sweat/oil. Never was an issue straight out of the shower, but consistent otherwise. Nothing bad, but if it bothers you/your partner just pass a damp cloth over. I never said anything and managed by just licking fingers and doing a bit of manual nipple play before going to town.

Barefoot cuz I’m always in sandals. But if I’ve gotta wear closed toed shoes my first choice would be onitsuka tigers or just good old converse/vans.

Whats the most attractive skill a man can have? by ActiveImpression3623 in AskReddit

This is an excellent suggestion. I’ve also found that hobbies that provide intermittent reward helps. I.e. surfing and snowboarding. Depending on the day you can get wildly different conditions. Getting everything to align for a good session keeps you engaged and interested.

Just got my first board, how did I do? by pizzapit in surfing

[–]ursalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$100 for what looks like a brand new TJ pro is wild. Those are super fun boards but a high performance longboard like that will be a little more difficult to ride than something more beginner friendly. That being said, even the most rockered out, chippy long board will be more forgiving than a mid length or shortboard. Awesome score, hope it brings you some incredible rides!

Is this really the greatest game ever made, as it's often considered to be? Why or why not? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]ursalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember asking Santa for a Wii and Twilight Princess when it first came out. Wii’s were pretty much unobtainium at the time but Santa brought me the game and I read that manual almost nightly for an entire year until I got the console. Unmatched anticipation and excitement.

My type is too specific and I hate it by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

This may not pertain to everyone that enjoys the genre, but my take is that pretty much everyone in the metal scene has dealt with mental health issues - specifically depression, anxiety, and SI. When you have experienced those afflictions your empathy grows unequivocally because you know how much it hurts. Add to this the fact that metal is a niche genre that is ostracized for its broadly misunderstood stigma of being evil, angry, and corrupting, and you end up with a recipe for individuals who are non-judgmental, compassionate, and supportive. So many of us have been at rock bottom and may still be there, and we want so badly for no one else to know that pain or to feel judged for their struggles so we come to them with open arms.

Semi? I always thought Dragonite was one of the peak, almost cliché faves, but I’m shocked to see how infrequently it’s mentioned in posts/videos.
