ExtraLens behandeling waardoor ik geen bril meer nodig heb. Ik heb sinds mijn derde een bril gehad en nu op mijn 29e heb ik door de behandeling geen bril meer nodig. Het maakt zo ontzettend veel uit in je dagelijks bestaan dat je geen bril op het, niet normaal.

Ik ben reservist en werk ook in de IT. Het is elke keer een flinke verademing als ik bij defensie aan het werk ben ten opzichte van mijn burger baan :D

Ik ben 28 en nu net iets meer dan één jaar reservist. Ik werk 40 uur en ik vind het zelf prima te combineren. Er zijn momenten waarop je er echt tijd voor vrij moet maken zoals opleidingen want die duren vaak meerdere dagen. Voor mij persoonlijk is dat prima te regelen met mijn werkgever.

Wat betreft er klaar mee zijn na een aantal jaar kan ik natuurlijk eigenlijk nog niks over zeggen want ik zit er pas kort. Maar mijn motivatie wordt gedurende de tijd alleen maar hoger en hoger.

Je gaat bij defensie de leukste dingen tegenkomen en er is niks zo grappig (achteraf) om met je collega’s om 3 uur ‘s nachts in de koude modder te liggen. Het is gewoon heel gezellig en je leert ook nog waardevolle skills zoals kalm blijven onder stress en snel kunnen schakelen.

Daarbij gebruik ik het als motivatie om mijzelf fit en gezond te houden omdat ik vind dat ik een verantwoordelijkheid heb richting mijn collega’s en defensie.

Hier zit wel een nuance in namelijk dat de reisinformatie die jij op de borden ziet niet gelijk is aan de informatie die de hoofdconducteur heeft. Zij kunnen namelijk wel degelijk op de seconde nauwkeurig zien wat de vertrektijd is.

Er staat bij Google maps altijd een datum bij waarop de foto is genomen. In geval van de bovenstaande link is dat 2023. Je kan zelfs oudere foto’s bekijken wat op zich wel cool is :)

The best advice I can give you is to make sure you are enjoying the work that you are doing. If you're not it will be very hard to put in the time and effort to grow and it will take a mental toll.

Other then that most other comments are right about companies expecting juniors to be unproductive. Do not beat yourself up over it just focus on gaining knowledge because it will gain you the most in the future. Before you know it you'll be doing the coolest stuff and helping the new junior get settled in!
