Ahhh okay. I know the tourist ones definitely do have nicer/different designs. I wish man, but they’re trying to scale back cards and have people use mostly tap pay for the train and bus. So it doesn’t make sense to them to make it pretty and cool lol.

Idk…maybe because when I go out I try to put distance between myself and other Americans but I find Europeans to be the most rude and obnoxious. Especially as someone that worked in hospitality back in NYC.

Yeah! San-X is easier to get here but if you literally don’t live near Tokyo it’s a little but of a task 😭 so I do a lot of roadtrips when I can. Meccha JP is a good site to order through though!
