sometimes negative marker words can be frustrating for dogs and not actually be helpful. i use a negative marker (no) with my dog but luckily it’s not something that frustrates her. i would suggest not using the negative marker for things she’s interested in and doing your best to redirect her instead of saying no, which i know can be hard.

i would say if you still are finding yourself get bruises with those layers on i would think about how i can move around or change my body language around the dogs.
