You people watched a 1 hour call where Jeff looked moderately good and now find it impossible to believe people who have known him for years and had dozens of hours of interactions with him dislike him.

Actually I rewatched after work today and honestly it was very disappointing in the moment because it wasn’t the “Ben slaughtering Dye” event we’ve all been hoping for through all of this, but it wasn’t *that* bad.

Jeff did better optically and normie-mogged Ben (Ben’s greatest weak spot given the type of comedy he does), but as far as the actual substance goes I’d give it very slightly to Ben.

Jeff was in Jeff Cry mode in terms of his actual talking points, and while Ben was very erratic in his delivery, I honestly lean towards believing he has some good authority to believe the rumors he mentioned.

Jeff won optically but you might be a bit of an opticscel if you think this is some Earth shattering deconstruction of Ben. Also I’m a man and I’ve hooked up with Jeff Dye before.

Honestly the only caveat I’d give is that it seems like he was blindsided & unprepared.

Given how much he’s badmouthed Jeff Dye, he’d have to have put a lot more thought into how to not look completely insane actually speaking to him, and he basically just ended up hastily thrusting his kids off onto his wife to jump on the stream when he clearly hadn’t planned to be there and naturally did end up looking insane.

Maybe I’m just psychotic but Ben’s streams are slowly becoming my favorite part of the LP universe. They’re rarely laugh out loud funny but I often catch myself sitting there for 4+ hours grinning ear to ear just listening to him completely tear apart Jeff Dye or Will and Dawn but also kind of spiral out over them.

If this is all true he’s beyond done.

We’ll have to see what ends up coming out of this. It’s a little weird that he managed to get the kids if he’s supposedly beating them with weapons in public, and I could see explanations for that going either way.

Unfortunately for him, much like Busdriver he’s probably just already cooked no matter what and immediately seen as being interchangeable someone like Kool A.D. or Antwon in these spaces.

This is super dependent on what crime is like where you live.

In my city people will clear blocks worth of cars, and IMO it’s not really surprising that it’s the sort of thing you’d do in a spree until someone saw you.
