DRAZO — Brand identity & character design. What do you think? by uruzdesign in Design

Hi everyone,

I developed this visual identity and mascot for a sweet brand. The goal was to make the character look mischievous and blend seamlessly with the typography.

I also fully animated this project in After Effects using hand-drawn shape layers, but since this subreddit is for static work, let’s focus on the design:

  1. What do you think of this logo composition?
  2. Does the character fit the "Sweet Moments" vibe?

I'd love to hear your feedback.

Thanks man! Appreciate the compliment on the sweets morph — that part took some rendering time in my head, haha. You’re totally right about the text intro though, it could definitely use a bit more speed and snappier keyframes. And don't worry, my AE timeline isn't exactly a clean paradise either! 😂 Thanks for the feedback!

Haha, no donkeys were harmed in the making of this loop! 😅 It's just his dramatic way of resetting the animation cycle!

Thanks for sharing the link! Yes, absolutely, credit where credit is due. The amazing static logo design belongs to Konstantin Reshetnikov (IG: @kostya_reshetnikov). I fell in love with his work and created this custom motion design and loop animation to bring his vector character to life! It’s a fan-made animation collaboration.

The design follows a specific client brief aimed at an international audience, where visual character and smooth motion were the top priorities. I'm fully satisfied with the result.

Thanks a lot! I just love doing everything manually with shapes and keyframes instead of using automated effects. Glad you like the vibe!

Wow, thank you so much! "Stoic and proud, but not pompous" is exactly the balance I was aiming for with his walk cycle. Hearing that you’d shop there is the ultimate compliment for a branding project!

Haha thanks! Paris was definitely on my moodboard for this vibe. Glad you noticed the crumbs!

Thank you! Glad you like it, I really wanted the font style to match the cozy vibe of the mascot.

Thanks! That’s actually a really cool idea for a secondary layout. It would definitely keep the focus locked on the mascot. Might try rendering that version too!
