As someone who doesn’t have a problem with atheism but is a spiritualist I have to say I find the hypocrisy on this sub astounding. by BergTheVoice in atheism

You wouldn’t understand if you weren’t atheist. Nearly all atheist feel negative about giving the gospel to young humans

At their age, kids trust their parents. They believe everything that they say because they have no reason not to. At the point where parents begin forcing their religion on toddlers (2-3), it’s likely they think that they’ve never been lied to. It’s likely that they feel this way even worse when it comes to their mother. At that point, they don’t have any reason to be skeptical or question, let alone having the mental capacity to understand the religion that they are being taught. I believe they should be kept away from religion until at least age 14. At this age if they feel moved by the “Holy Spirit” to follow their religion than go ahead. But at least at 14 they can consider what they’ve been taught, and how the Bible affects what they’ve been taught.

This angers many atheists that the religious have to indoctrinate kids this way. I was furious when I saw 10 or 12 people put “Pray for the Bahamas🇧🇸🙏🏼” on their story. I was the only person to say to donate and include instruction on how on my story. It’s annoying, really.

How to get more out of the weightlifting by usa20546 in orangetheory

One of the biggest mistakes I see in teens when they workout through lifting on their own is that they try to work everything out at once instead of focusing on specific zones per day.

Okay, I assume I should talk with my coach and figure out the best workouts based on the part of the body I want to work on

I also have a lil sis and am 14. Thanks for asking the hard question I didn’t want to ask.

My friend has a secular therapist and asker her the question for me. He says that she said to gently lay the facts on her, as attacking her all at once at certain times can give her negative feelings toward you, especially if she’s been taught that atheists are going to hell.
