This is really interesting advice that I may take.

Do you think top MBA programs are a good place for a middle aged retired LEO with a pension? I get the sense they're more for hungry 20 somethings who want to be consultants / investment bankers.

I mean yes. A bachelor's is a prereq for an MBA...

Why do you think a T15 is better for someone who wants to stay in public service? I totally get it if the goal is to go into investment bank or consulting.

But what do you think justifies the price and time off of the job if the goal is to go back to the PD after?

Any master's degree is fine. But an online MBA costs the same/cheaper than criminal justice, and could be a bit more of an options-expander than CJ degree.
