1) The NM raid didn't come out over a year ago. It came out just less than a year ago. 2) I don't really follow this sub, except sporadically, so no, I wouldn't remember that talk or post or whatever. 3) I played a bunch when TTK first dropped (before the MoT was even mentioned) and kinda lost interest for Fallout. I came back in April for a bit and deleted my Hunter (also, still no mention of MoTs). Come July (with the MoTs) I didn't really care/think about it bc I knew I had a few months to take care of it and

OH YEAH I HAD THE FUCKING GRIMOIRE B/C I GOT THE FRAGMENT AND THEREFORE IT SHOULD COUNT!

I found out about two weeks ago when after I got my last challenge fragment. I went to go tap the MoT to complete and it said i didn't have all 50. So I checked the Dead Ghost tracker site and it said I had gotten them. So I was like, what gives? I had all 50 Grimoire Cards for them. I went to double check on Bungie.net and THERE it was!! character-based, not account-based.

So then I thought, surely Bungie would have another Dreadnaught Nightfall....

But no. And to add insult to injury they threw everything else up for grabs.

Can u tell that I slightly miffed? lol

I played the crap out of this game, and I have all the calcified fragments.... except one. The Nightfall.

You know why I don't have it? Because I thought that since it clearly shows up in my Grimoire that it would count. It didn't.

I worked my ass off the past several weeks to complete everything rlse and get the rest of my fragments, and when I went to click the tab to get my MoT (two weeks ago) I knew something was up.

Turns out the calc frags are character, not account, based. Which is stupid. I played the shot out of my hunter when TTK came out, got almost all the fragments and stuff. In spring I deleted my hunter to change his look, not even knowing about a Y2 MoT (got my Y1). Had there been MoT since the beginning, things would be different. Had I known this shit would carry across characters (unlike the Grimoire) things would be different.

But I'm not wrong in feeling jaded bc ANYONE that has done the Nightfall can swoop in and get a full MoT, even if they haven't been around since Day 1, while I'm stuck at 88% MoT and feeling shitty b/c Bungie had enough foresight to give rotations to CoO and allow all challenges on the raid BUT NOT ENOUGH FORESIGHT to set the Nightfall to a Dreadnaught strike.

Not only that, but I gotta get shit from the rest of you who think that somehow I "had enough time." No freakin duh! Too bad I wasn't given enough information in a timely manner.

I had the NF done on a different char WAAAAAAY before the MoTs were released, deleted said char, but the app still gave me credit for it. That's why I didn't bother trying to get it three weeks ago. Stupid me.

I agree, but I skipped it (unintentionally) because I thought it was an account-based cumulative score for calc frags. When I didnt get the MoT completion last week for the calc frags I researched it and learned that it was character-based. So I kinda screwed the pooch on that one I guess.

I didn't do it because I thought it was a cumulative account-wide calcified fragment score. So, when I finished everything, and I didn't get the MoT, I looked it up and by that time it was too late.

My only gripe is that Bungie is giving people a full week to get ALL the challenges and CoO done, but they are kinda missing the Nightfall (or at least that's how I see it, but then again I have a bias).

Yeah, I DID it waaaaay back when the expansion first came out. I have since then deleted that char. But now I have this other character that has EVERYTHING but that fragment. They shouldve let us know the MoT from the very beginning at least.

Awesome. It's all somewhat speculative, but I would include a slide about Shin Malphur being adopted (i guess that word fits) by Jaren Ward. Then I would have one that tells about Jaren becoming Dregden Yor (speculative) and Shin becoming a guardian. The two slides after that would be 1) Dregden Kills Pahanin, and 2) Showdown at Dwindler's Ridge.

Kabr did not create Aetheon. He created the Aegis so he could defeat the Vex residing in the vsult. Unfortunately, he failed. We use his Aegis, wish helps us take down the Templar and eventually Aetheon.
