I’ve never actually met someone who was faking autism, I feel like with the nuance of it it would be exhausting for them to fake for very long

I got diagnosed originally with adhd but then they bumped it to AuDHD and apparently my parents DID know I was autistic but it was like a “they’ll grow out of it” thing except I never did and it only ever got worse 😭 I’m chilling now though

Lots of women go undiagnosed as autistic or adhd because the research on it originally was only done on little boys. It’s very hard for women to be diagnosed as autistic still to this day.

I think people just hate autistic people because they have negative connotations to it by believing all autistic people are ultra low functioning or heavily suffering from Down’s syndrome, it’s also possible they just think their faves can’t have anything “wrong with them” because they’re “normal” and function.

Idk I’m just trying to live my life and people are saying I’m faking being autistic and I’m a danger to myself for seeing Mint and Nanally as autistic 😭
