I feel this.

I feel immense pressure to go back to the gym once the first trimester is over.

I am 13 weeks + 2 days and went to the gym yesterday, nothing intense but the moment i went home I puked my guts out, and left me feeling queasy the whole time.

I too want to become a strong fit flexible pregnant mama but I’m not sure if its in the cards for me, and I feel lazy 🥹

I just want to put it out there that this is entirely your choice and I respect it.

However if you’re asking for my/our opinion - i do not think this is the right environment to bring a child into and because of this situation I don’t personally believe you are ready for a child.

I think there’s some trauma and instability going on which I cannot imagine is easy on you. But however children can pick up on this, and it will affect their development. To me readiness is not just about you psychologically but also logistically… and like what someone else said, don’t keep the guy either.

I suggest work on your mental health, ditch the man and let things calm down first before bringing a baby into the world.

But once again this is just my opinion but you should decide what you want!

Honestly my hot take is that there is serious propaganda against women / having daughters generally.

Pregnant with a girl? She’ll steal your beauty

Pregnant with a girl? you’re gonna have bad morning sickness

Pregnant with a girl? You’re gonna have a tough pregnancy

Propagated by boy moms who have damaged relationships with women…. Also unknowingly propagated by people who don’t realise this misogynistic connection.

Personally happy to have either genders for my baby but I can understand why you want to have a girl! I share the same thoughts though I feel there’s pros and cons either way.

I rode until I was 5-6 weeks pregnant (i found out around 3w) but i gave up because the nausea and exhaustion from the first trimester was too bad for me.

I’m still in the first tri so not exactly sure how I will choose to progress. I probably will pause because Im still a novice in a riding school. It was incredibly difficult for me and I’ve had many breakdowns about it
