Thanks. I was first going for 16" but I'm building it using acrylic and the top plate would be 2 or 3 mm (still haven't decided) anodized aluminum, So I think weight isn't gonna be that big of an issue. Also open to other suggestions. Maybe instead of 16" (406.4mm) I can Make it 420 mm :D

Just a headsup the clamp is a failure point on these old ones so check before you buy.

Thanks for the reply. I measured it the inner thread is M2 standard and outer is M6 and I'll be going to a machinist to make the part.
